  1. If that stat line is a blazing start I wonder what words they would use for someone with a good stat line.
  2. It's kind of hilarious that right now Straw has more WAR than Roki.

  15. Paxton gets the start. Lauer coming in behind him.
  16. I've said it before and I'll say it again. This team manages scared when it comes to pitching. It's caused them to overwork the pen and likely led to the injuries we are seeing. They overthink the numbers on pitching decisions and don't base decisions on how the pitchers look.
  17. Busy couple of days for former Jays: Genesis Cabrera DFA'd by Mets Pillar DFA'd by Rangers Craig's son optioned by KC Reese McGuire will be knocking balls around Chicago as he was selected by the Cubs
  18. Better analytics and advanced scouting in the Rays system I would guess.
  19. Sigh, this team is so frustrating to watch. 2 runs in 3 games in a little league stadium is embarrassing.
  20. Put Vlad in a minor league park shaped like Yankee Stadium! look out!
  21. As the great Yogi Berra once said "Baseball is 90% mental, the other half is physical"
  22. They didn’t want to test a movable object versus a stoppable force.
