    The one I get excited about is that they are 38-25 against teams > .500 . They are winning against the good teams at a better rate than anyone else in the league. Brewers are next closest at 35-24

    I could be wrong on this but I get the impression Manoah could disrupt the clubhouse if he is with the team and feeling like he isn’t getting his due even if he is struggling as a starter. The team might just want to avoid that.

    Bieber's surgery was months before Manoah's and he has already had one setback. I'm sure people are also considering that Bieber was dominant before he went down while Manoah was meh

    Do you know who else had the potential to be the Jays best reliever over his controllable period? Eric Swanson . Relievers are very volatile.

    Here are the number of blown saves this year by some of the guys dealt today Finnegan 6 (20 saves) Shelby Miller 5 (10) Jake Bird 6 (0) Iglesias 5 (12) Helsley 5 (21) Jax 5 (0) Mason miller 3 (20) Bednar 0 (17) this one surprised me doval 4 (15) Duran 2 (16) Hoffman 4 (25) Hoffman’s 4 isn’t as bad as people think it is.

    The biggest thing that went wrong at the deadline to me was outside of the Jays control. It was the Rays and Royals surprisingly adding. It would have been nice to have the ~12 games come against them after selling rather than buying. Then again, the Jays play to their competition it feels like so not all bad.

    I guess this means Paredes is likely out for the year.

    I'm ok with Mullins being in the NL now. I'm not sure he was a fit for the Jays so may as well get him somewhere we don't have to see him again.

    I would be quite happy if I heard they gave him a million or two to pick up the option for next year early. I can't imagine it happened though.
