    Because it's the Red Sox, we have a chance. I think Scherzer has a reasonable four to five innings today. Perhaps I shouldn't have put that into the aether.

    Red Sox about to offer us the farm for Schneider. He would be an MVP candidate in this ballpark.

    I'm sure they will dominate almost every aspect of the game, but being Canada it doesn't mean they won't f*** it up. Outside of qualification for the last World Cup, it's mostly disappointment and self-inflicted wounds.

    Pretty amazing, Switzerland was far superior. However we can't say much, it would be a very Canada thing to lose to Qatar. We have no aerial ability and we have very little finish.

    I think at this point we go batter by batter with Gausman. Have the pen ready. He's been great.

    I think they really believed they could get his offense at least back to league average, maybe even better, in which case it could've been a steal. Just hasn't worked out that way.

    Kirk should be in the lineup against Shitter as DH. The Blue Jays are going to have to use two catcher lineups here and there. This is also not the game that I would have given Vlad a day off. He's a contact hitter and we need contact hitters because even slap singles off of Shitter will be valuable. Moto is also too high in the lineup. I think Shitter will cream him.

    Let's not forget that he was fast tracked to the major leagues. Still young as a pro. He might still need seasoning in the minors.

    His command issues have always been there. Despite his magical starts in the postseason he still has to prove that he can be a frontline starter over the course of a full season. Especially after teams get a look at him a few times.

    Would be real nice having two lefties in the pen against this Yankees team. But Macko was discarded for...reasons.

    Yesavage is going to have to figure out how to be more consistent with his command if he's going to stay as a top of the rotation type guy.

    No effort, none, runs at 50% and doesn't give a f***. If he's hurt he should get the f*** out of the lineup. Otherwise this guy's an embarrassment.
