  1. Isn't there a massive different between steroids/HGH and greenies?
  2. He hit more HRs in one year than the rest of the league combined...I don't care what your body looks like, that's good.
  3. You mean vs. the massive 2% of african Americans that play in the majors today? Your point is counterbalanced by the watered down competition of 30 teams and small ballparks...all of which have fences! Hahaha
  4. It's also likely that 75% of the pitchers Bonds faced were on steroids...
  5. http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/with-happ-blue-jays-complete-purely-cromulent-rotation/
  6. Dave Stewart is still a GM. So to some extent, yes.
  7. dats racist. It's Krispy Young.
  8. + Chavez and Hutch.
  9. Massive assumption that Kuma has any interest in signing here...
  10. So did David Price
  11. You can also handcuff the franchise for years with that money...
  12. This is possible the worst post I've read since joining this board...
  13. Then do us all a favour, fall off the bandwagon, break you leg and go cheer for another team
  14. This thread is somewhat unbearable. It's not David Price...whhhhaaaaaaaa I'm so upset
  15. I have a good friend who tore a muscle in his shoulder and was getting plasma rich injections down in Toronto. The guy giving him the injections says he works on the Jays players and he said that Bats and EE are massive vagines and that Jose's shoulder injury and EE's thumb injury were very minor and that these two are always trying to talk their way out of the lineup. I will be the first to admit I don't believe any of this (even though it's a good friend who told me)....I resisted posting earlier, because, well, I think it's pointless, but it seems to fit in with this discussion...so what the hell - take it for what it's worth.
  16. I don't think there's any point of debating whether their baseball skill will diminish unless you're going to acknowledge their bodies and health are inevitably going to breakdown to some extent. They go hand in hand.
  17. Shouldn't we expect those things from aging players?
  18. Their OBP's are a lot closer than you think...
  19. It's been an absolute pleasure watching these 2 guys hit the baseball over the past 4 years. Both were castaways who never gave up and worked their asses off to become two of the best hitters in baseball. I don't know what the answer is re: extension.
  20. Lawrie's probably been complaining that he has to pay for his own daily case of Red Bull. Beane's heard enough.
  21. That's spot on. It always seemed to be a matter of staying healthy. I think as a minimum, everyone would have expected his defense to remain elite. A very odd season for Brett.
  22. I don't know. Because journalists are terrible at their jobs maybe?
  23. Jays need the extra cash to sign Price
  24. You like his throwing technique? It looks like he's throwing a grenade. It's pitiful technique for a ML player.
