  1. f***ing internet!
  2. I just saw someone post that in 1941 when Ted Williams hit .406 that he reached on error exactly ZERO times.
  3. Personally I love the idea of having someone completely different coming out of the pen. TB has been doing this for years - lots of different arm angle, velocities and pitch mixes.
  4. Take a deep breath - there is no need to read into this so much.
  5. 2 more bombs tonight 11 in his last 9 games. Unreal.
  6. Romano Taylor/Garcia Merryweather Pearson Borucki 5th Starter (typically not required in the playoffs) Mayza Castro Chatwood Obviously there are some big questions marks there, but that pen has potential to be dominant in the playoffs IMO.
  7. Joe West is calling that 100% based on the reaction by Manoah (which he doesn't like because he's 104). He's a POS.
  8. I don't get Hurl's picture. I am dumn.
  9. That is really bizarre....4th opinion?
  10. Yeah I've read a lot of good stuff about him too. Comparisons to Draymond Green and a very poor man's Magic Johnson. Apparently if he can develop a shot from the outside, he'll be elite. The highlight clip of Jalen Green makes him f***ing look incredible though....my god. I can't imagine he'll be there at 4 unfortunately.
  11. How easily we forget that Kirk tore up the minors (wRC+ in the high 150's) and owns a career wRC+ of 136 at the ML level.
  12. comps are always so funny. nbadraft.net comps Jalen Green as Eddie f***ing Jones. NBA.com comps him as a young Ray Allen, Zach Lavine, Kelly Oubre and Ben McLemore. NBAdraftroom says built like Ray Allen, game like Clyde, fierce like Kobe! It definitely should be BPA at 4 and that will be Green, Mobley or Suggs. I love all 3 personally.
  13. Jordan's brother Jaxx is off to a roaring start this year.
  14. It will probably be Green or Suggs. Great options! Big night for the Raps.
  15. Even a broken clock is right twice a day...
  16. Grichuk since May 12th - wRC+ of 93 Gurriel since May 12th - wRC+ 121 Add that to Gurriel's results over the past 2 years and there's no way Gurriel hits below Grichuk. Randel should be a platoon bat.
  17. It was a joke about how vegans always go out of the way to tell you they are vegan. Same with people who do crossfit. I'll show myself out.
  18. f*** - and all this time I've been activating the calves like Phil told me to!
  19. Jesus - and here I am, being told (by a vegan) that vegans are the best and the healthiest people on earth (and that the rest of us non-vegans are all scum)
  20. Bunch of sour puss's. I think the HR derby is great and love the new format (time instead of outs). Then again - I have 3 young boys, so it's a fun night for us. I still think it's the best skills competition in any of the 4 major sports and truly is an event that can feature the 'stars' of baseball (as opposed to the dunk competition, which is usually full of a bunch of 11th or 12th guys off the bench who nobody cares about).
  21. 12 straight starts with 1 ER allowed or fewer. MLB record.
  22. Nice to see Groshans get hot. He's up to a 114 wRC+ now 11% BB 22% K
  23. Loved seeing Rahm win - nice redemption. The Barstool guys were talking about this today, which I agree with....it's f***ing awesome to have an an easy 18th hole that you can score on. LO standing on the tee at 18th with a realistic chance at an eagle to tie was awesome. I'd love to see more courses built like this - Par 5 18th's. Also, I know Rahm's wife is nursing, but f*** me - huge tracts of land.
