    Yeah - unfortunately, this isn't just a NY thing. I never liked the "classy [insert city] fans right there" comments. I think there's a good possibility you could see fans for any team try that s***. No different than having fans throw s*** at players, or all the other ******** you see from time to time. People are f***ing stupid.

    The guy with 7 chins is an old friend of Gronk's. Went to university with him - said he was on the hockey team. Of course Gronk said he's a great guy and he loved what he did to Betts.

    Display an ounce of athletic ability and catch/deflect that ball before Betts does? It's clearly on the "fan" side of the wall and thus that would have been fair game. Perhaps more difficult when you've got 7 chins.

    I don't know about that man. Kike is cementing himself as a playoff legend for the Dodgers - what a turnaround this year. Yamamoto was lights out too. But yes, I guess some of what you're saying is true. I just finished watching The Comeback on Netflix. Really incredible documentary. It would be unreal to see the Yanks do that in the World Series.....especially when the last 9 teams to go up 3-0 in the WS have won it in 4...

    I'm sorry - but we were given a gift in Game 1. One of the best World Series games of all-time. There's absolutely no way this WS can be consider a disappointment - even if it's a 4 game sweep.

I just realized Joe Davis did the ultimate tribute to Vin Sully....same call! This afternoon Joe Buck called the David Freese HR in 2011 where he quoted his Dad "and we'll see you tomorrow night" (Puckett HR). That's as good as it gets for a broadcaster. To have the opportunity to call a historic moment and to pay tribute to some of the best to ever do it. Well done. How can you not be romantic about baseball!
