    Gausman looking back to his old self. Velo back up to 94-95 and his splitter looking nasty tonight. Was probably just the cold weather in NY affecting his Velo early in the season.

    Kikuchi is fighting his command out there, well be lucky to get 5 Inn out of him today. As long as he can keep us in the game, man we need the offense to give him some help, it's been brutal so far. Gotta cash with guys on base, feels like the 2023 Jays all over again.

    Bassitt is a throwback to an older generation. He proves that you don't need 95+ velocity to still dominate in this game. He's a true pitcher, reminds me of Maddux.

    Man those Jerseys are god awful! The lettering literally looks like something I could silkscreen at home. The must of fixed the pants at least, they don't look seethrough, at least on TV anyway.

    It's a 1 year deal for $13M plus an additional $1.5M in possible performance based incentives. A bit of an overpay IMO based on what Joc Pederson signed for, but I'm okay with it.

    Decent signing, replacement for Belt with a better bat and can play 3rd base in a pinch. The only concern is age, he's 39 so hopefully his production doesn't fall off a cliff. Veterin presence at least and it's only a low risk 1 year deal. Hopefully this leaves us room to pick up at least one more bat, preferably a Lefty as we are extremely right hand heavy now.
