  1. What a performance!!! Let's @#$%@# Go!!! See you on the GDT tomorrow!
  2. Bassitt only at 90 pitches, let him start the 9th!!
  3. What a pitchers duel!
  4. Let's go streaking Boys! Tough stretch ahead, let's start off on the right foot! Braves Lineup RHP S. Strider 1. R. Acuna Jr. , RF ® 2. M. Olson , 1B (L) 3. A. Riley , 3B ® 4. S. Murphy , C ® 5. E. Rosario , LF (L) 6. O. Albies , 2B (S) 7. T. D'Arnaud , DH ® 8. M. H. II , CF (L) 9. O. Arcia , SS ® Jays Lineup RHP C. Bassitt 1. G. Springer , RF ® 2. B. Bichette , SS ® 3. V. Guerrero Jr. , 1B ® 4. D. Varsho , LF (L) 5. M. Chapman , 3B ® 6. A. Kirk , C ® 7. B. Belt , DH (L) 8. W. Merrifield , 2B ® 9. K. Kiermaier , CF (L)
  5. Probably the Rays, just because of how fast out of the gate they started and they really haven't slowed down much and we are almost at the a quarter of the way through the season. Even if they go .500 the rest of the way they still win 92 games!
  6. The Cards are probably one of the biggest suprises of the year. They were favorites to win the Division and are now bottom feeders in the league. Them and the White Sox are probably the biggest underacheivers so far on the season. While Pittsburgh, TB and Baltimore are the biggest overachievers. Can't see TB keeping up this pace though, they've had an incredibly soft schedule. They will still be in the mix for the Division though because of the crazy hot start they had. They might regress, but probably still win 95+ games.
  7. My first ever pick. I'll take Espinal
  8. Damn new dimensions just cost us 2 runs, that's a HR all day last year.
  9. Once Green and Ryu are ready to go, we are gonna have some big decisions to make, it's nice to know that we at least have some depth to weather any injuries down the stretch. Green and Ryu will be a big boost to our pitching staff.
  10. Be interesting to see what they do with him. They have 30 days before he has to be added to 40 man roster, he's also out of minor league options. So they either have to bring him up or DFA him after 30 days.
  11. Jays have tied the franchise record for best start after 25 games. Though 16-9 is a good start, seems strange we have never had a better record then that to start a season.
  12. The AL "B"East is far and away the best division in baseball and it's not even close. Every team is a above .500 with a combined record of 71-39 (.645) and a run differential of +134. We are the only team in the division with a negative run differential (-4). Currently 4 of the 5 teams are on pace for 95+ wins. Could this be the beat division in MLB history? The next best division is the NL Central with a 59-51(.536) record and a +67 run differential.
  13. Nice to see Vladdy take advantage of this Mickey Mouse field. That's probably off the fence in any other stadium! Varsho's was a big boy HR though!
  14. Springer has really been struggling at the plate since his 5 hit game on opening day. Average now below the mendoza line. And OPS under .600.
  15. Delete
  16. Biggio looks like absolutely trash at the plate tonight
  17. Gotta say as much as I hate this Apple TV BS, the broadcast is much better this season then it was last year.
  18. Anyone check out the new videos just released for phase 2 of the Renovations. Super swanky! Seats behind the plate and dugouts look like they will no longer be affordable to the average fan. https://bluejays.fanportal-mlb.com/beyond/?partnerId=zh-20230418-884003-TOR-1-A&qid=39&bt_ee=QvkQup5N0vYgD7FmISgNtSM7wVaDLITva%2BjotV7liITWtv63io80E1icEyn8XXVp&bt_ts=1681855860466
  19. Chappy extending his OPS lead with that bomb! He's gonna make Bank in Free Agency!
  20. Ross Stripling has been off to a rough Start in SF. He's already been demoted to the BP. He has an ERA of 9 and already given up 6 HRs in 10 IP. What makes his numbers even worse is he is pitching in the most pitcher friendly park in the MLB. Looks like we made a good move in not resigning him. Aa mid as Chris Bassett has looked so far, still much better then Stripling.
  21. If Springer doesn't hit all 3 balls to dead centre he has 3 HRs tonight instead of 3 fly outs. He must of pissed off the BABIP Gods.
  22. Lots of our guys have had good success against McLanahan over the years. Feeling confident, Manoah is due for a good game too! Let's take out the Brooms Boys!
  23. At the game tonight! Let's destroy these guys! Go Jays Go!
  24. Dumbest protocol ever, gonna be in the mid to high 20s all week, zero excuses not to have the dome open. Would of been awesome to have it open for our home opener, especially considering it's later then usual this year.
  25. Any chance they open the Dome for the game tomorrow? Suppose to be 20 degrees.
