  1. We've already locked up a playoff spot, yes winning the division would be ideal, but letting your $100M player sit and rot is stupid. If he's healthy he should be playing bottom line.
  2. I'm completely baffled why Santander isn't playing tonight. Give him these remaining games to prove himself to see if he's worthy of being on the playoff roster. Having a legit power threat in your lineup is invaluable in the playoffs. I don't care if he hits .200, if he can hit a HR at a key moment we need that. HRs are even more important in the playoffs.
  3. Complete horseshit! It gets to a point where I'm actually starting to believe the fix is in. Unreal!
  4. That's unreal! How the hell is that not overturned? It was clearly 100% a catch, not even a question. This is corrupt!!
  5. It's called a slump, happens to every team. We still have the best offense in baseball, they will turn it around, better to slump now then in the playoffs. We play much better at home, and we finish there with 6 games. Let's not jump off a cliff here
  6. Jays never play well in TB or KC, so this is expected, hopefully they can avoid the sweep tomorrow and head back home on a winning note. Still feeling confident we will win the division, 6 home games to end the season at least and we have the best home record in baseball.
  7. What a grab by Straw! Having him and Varsho in the field has been invaluable! Now let's go win this ******* game!!!
  8. Cleveland only 3 games back now after the Tigers loss, could be 2.5 if Indians can pull it out tonight. This Tigers Collapse could be one of the worst in MLB history. They were up 11 games on Sep 1st. Unreal!
  9. Yes, save the BP, I don't care if we lose 40-1
  10. So game is gonna be on Sportsnet tonight! They will be rebroadcasting the Apple feed.
  11. Jays definitely can't let off the gas, they have a comfortable but not insurmountable lead. The Yankees can easily win 8 or 9 of their last 10 games with 7 of them being against Baltimore and 3 against the White Sox. Jays need to take 2 of 3 in KC
  12. Bingo!
  13. They did that in 2015 and ended up finishing behind the Royals when they could have easily had home field advantage had they not fielded a AAA team for the last week of the season. Let's hope we don't make that same mistake again. Jays are a much better team at home!
  14. The Jays achieved something tonight that they haven't done in over 30 years! What was the achievement? The last time the Jays did this was May 20, 1995.
  15. WTF? That's an egregious call! Game should be under protest, it can't be both a HR and fan interference. That fan should be kicked out of the stadium.
  16. Bichette who? Never let him play SS again, this is Gimenez spot permanently!
  17. Yesavage is like the the polar opposite of a submarine pitcher. That's a crazy over the top delivery.
  18. I originally thought that Bo was making the injury out to be worse the it was to try to prevent further injury going into a contract year, but now I think it's bad! If he misses the entire season and playoffs this could really affect his next contract with the injury uncertainty. His legs are already in question with the drastic drop in sprint speed this year and now a potential bad knee injury. Who is gonna want to take gamble on an injury prone player?
  19. Nice play by Gimenez. Bichette doesn't make that play. Sucks that he's out, but Gimenez is a huge defensive upgrade!
  20. The last time our all time franchise record was .500 was June 18, 1995!
  21. 54 wins is the franchise record set in 1985. Win 5 of our last 6 at home to set new record.
  22. Jays 2nd and 3rd best seasons (1987 and 2021) in run differential they actually missed the playoffs. That's just the way it goes sometimes.
  23. Gonna pass Yankees in run differential soon so Michael Kay can shut his yap lol
  24. Yes, If your thinking of the same guy I'm thinking of your right! The 1993 guy is much more obscure and was not a long tenured Jays players.
