    You're giving up on Vlad. The Jays have been preaching let the ball travel, hit it to center or right for 2 years. They've been missing meatballs for the last 2 years, but their strike out and walk rates have improved. It looks like they hitters have finally said f*** that and they are being more aggressive. Vlad's going to have a monster second half. Bo is checked out. He looks like a guy who's given up. He swings at everything. The Jays need to trade him. Vlad. I'm not taking a f***ing comp pick for Vlad.

    The approach and process implemented is an epic fail. That comes right from the Top. Atkins hires managers, coaching, analytics. It's his process that's being implemented. He's responsible for everything, not just roster construction. Do something. It's like Atkins is trying to get fired, or smug and throwing it in our faces that he won't be fired. 7 hitting coaches isn't f***ing working. Anyalytics..too much, too little. Who knows. Every players underlying numbers look better than their actual production. They need to figure this s*** out. It's been multiple years now and it isn't f***ing working. The Jays destroy hitters.

    There were reports that said the opposite and by the end of it he was just begging to get on any team and signed for less than Turner signed for.

    Belt had the highest OPS on the team last year. They needed to replace that production. This might be out of the box thinking, but maybe they could have just resigned Belt..lol. Martinez was the obvious safest choice if you weren't going to resign belt.

    Clement is 28 years old with a .585 career OPS...wtf are you talking about?

    Great day for the Biggio hating fan club, but he has been a lot better this year for the Jays than Clement. Carrying 2 first basemen and 2 DHs isn't ideal roster construction unless they are committed to Vlad playing 3rd base now.

    It's an awkward time for a rebuild with the money committed for the years it is. The wild card is trending towards 84 to 87 wins not 89 to 93 wins. We may as well go for it. Is Joey Votto alive? Springer has finally started turning the corner. Even the last couple games 3 of his outs were loud one's with no strike outs. Losing Manoah sucks, but it can't be considered catastrophic. He's our 5th starter and many on here didn't think he should start for us at all this year. The big issue is Bo Bichette. We need to get him going.

    I get that Bo has always had s***** plate discipline and he's been successful in the past. I think the league is increasing the number of pitches that are off the plate vs the past. He just can't lay off anything. He's not getting any pitches to hit. He needs to make some adjustments.

    Vlad and bo both took middle middle 1st pitch strikes. This is down to philosophy, approach, pre game meetings, process. RBI situations and missing the first pitch is a problem.

    What changes are being made? Finally modifying the lineup? It's the whole philosophy and approach to hitting that is broke. They are trusting the process and haven't changed anything.

    no team misses mistake sliders more often than the Jays. I'm nost sure what they are discussing in hitters meetings, but it's not working. Vlad didn't even offer at a pitch middle in that he could have hit 500 feet. I should stop bitching though...we have a rally going!

    He totally missed 2nd base...didn't touch it. Why didn't we challenge, or did he catch it on the fly?

    The offense could be fixed really quickly. Every player has to do 100 push ups after the game if they take a pitch that hits the middle middle box. Biggio took a cookie on the first pitch.

    2 games 18 runs, 4 homers...seems like everyone wants a piece of the Jacket. They aren't getting rid of it anytime soon.
