  1. fingers crossed, but so far he doesn't look like a damn fool at all.
  2. Springer shouldn't be leading off, but that was a solid first AB by George.
  3. sort of like this comment?
  4. Vlad's on everything. His launch angle has gone from -3 to 6 to 12. If he gets that launch angle 15 to 20 he'll hit 7 homers in 10 days.
  5. Bringing in a s***** lefty knowing that Springer was on the bench seemed like a bonehead managerial mistake. They type I attribute to Schneider all the time. Jays didn't even try to hide the fact Springer was coming in. It's nice to see that other managers make mistakes too.
  6. What an AB by Babe. Terrible luck. Hit contact had double written all over it, but he got the job done and tacked on another run.
  7. Eric Swanson with a 3 up 3 down inning. Bo and Vlad hitting. My god, Springer might come of the bench and hit a homer the way this game is going.
  8. That f***ing ump at first is like leslie nielson....everything is a strike. No way bichette offered at that pitch.
  9. The way Kikuchi is pitching right now, if he keeps it up he could bring in quite an impressive haul for a rental.
  10. Vlad pulls off the ball when he overswings. He's constantly late with his timing, so I wouldn't say he's trying to hit it to left. I'd say his focus is the opposite. With 2 runners on and 2 out the pitcher made a really good pitch and Vlad stayed on it and didn't overswing and hit a liner that just didn't fall. Vlad is moving in the right direction. Home runs come in bunches. He could hit 5 in a week and his numbers would be right where they should be. Bo and Springer a lot further away.
  11. He can't locate. He's the left handed version of Nate Pearson with even less control. Outside of the stretch he had with us, last year his numbers have never been good. Sure the stuff is there. Don't use him in close games we need to win. Fire John Schneider. This team is becoming unwatchable. It's too frustrating.
  12. Like what the f*** are we doing using Pearson and Cabrera in a close game when Garcia is available and Kikuchi was at 97 pitchers. He retired the last 12 batters he faced. He could have came in the 9th. Just fire Schneider already.
  13. Why the f*** didn't they run out kikuchi for the 9th. 97 pitches. The dude sleeps 14 hours a day. The body recovers fine when you sleep like a lion.
  14. f*** can we get Kikuchi 2 runs....This man is ready to finish this game himself.
  15. especially when you consider they got their runs off a bloop single and a seeing eye grounder that wasn't hit hard followed up by a 342 foot homer. Like seriously, this team is cursed.
  16. Most of Danny's injuries have come from breaks from being hit by pitches. I don't think that's going to scare off a lot teams. He hasn't had a lot of soft tissue injuries, ligament injuries. He's had the 2nd best wRC+ of all catchers in the league since 2022. He's fast for a catcher and he's very solid defensively. I think you're selling him short. I think he deserves and will get a lot more than 2 and 25.
  17. 2 lineouts....seriously we have no luck either.
  18. Holy crap....bichette got a hit!
  19. That fan's face was awesome. You practically hear his thoughts. Man I new I should have just gotten the cheap seats...why the hell did I pay for these seats on Stubhub.
  20. after that play.I think there's a good chance that he doesn't have autonomy over the lineup card. That bunt play was all Schneider though. I wanted him fired immediately
  21. all night long the first pitch of the AB has been the best pitch to hit and we're taking it consistently.
  22. Yeah, because bunting with runners on 1st third with one out in a tie game on the road in the 7th inning with Ernie Clement at the plate, who is top 10 percentile in contact and speed in the league, was a great strategy. Constantly running out Bo and Springer top 4 in the order is wise.
  23. I think i'm understanding our new hitting philosophy. Take balls right down the middle early on in the count and panic swing at balls off the plate once it gets to 2 strikes.
  24. There couldn't be less pressure on the hitters right now. Game's done. Try something different. Make some f***ing adjustments. Today is the day to experiment.
