  1. He's already ahead of them by a level, but thats close enough lol
  2. Wouldn't that be nice? Who would be their version of Craig Biggio's son? It really was about all 3 of them in the minors until Biggio shat the bed in the bigs by never swinging the bat.
  3. Confirmed. April 16, 2026 SS Juan Sanchez assigned to Dunedin Blue Jays from DSL Blue Jays Red. the next dynamic duo taking shape
  4. According to Gameday facts, Cease has faced 53 batters and not given up a single barreled ball
  5. I'll take Sanchez tonight
  6. April 8 versus Blowtani Springer (1) - mphenhef Varsho (1) Vlad (1) - Landry jesus (2) - Laika Kaz (2) - jonn Clement (3) Lukes (4)- John_Havok Gimenez (3) - Spanky Heineman (5) - Orgfiller Bench (10)
  7. Minor league thing but... the AA Fisher Cats scored 10 runs in inning with only 1 hit and no defensive errors. BB BB WP K SF (1-2) BB BB BB (2-2) HBP (3-2) WP (4-2) BB HBP (5-2) WP (6-2) BB BB (7-2) WP (8-2) 1B (10-2) K
  8. I can't believe you've done this. Now Gausman is gonna get hurt.
  9. I think he was 75 pitches in the Dunedin start so... yeah he's close enough for a bulk role at minimum.
  10. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Sometimes... it rains. Think about that.
  11. Thanks. So May 2 is the league start date this year, another month to go before box score hunting commences.
  12. Speaking of Asians, anyone know how that Korean high schooler Seojun Moon looked in minor league camp?
  13. My list of parks include Seattle, Minnesota, Toronto, White Sox stadium, Fenway and whatever the Giant's park is called now. As far as experience outside the stadium goes, like pre and post game, Fenway takes that and it's not even close but dead last by far on in-game experience. Seattle, Minnesota and White Sox have very nice parks. Chicago's is kinda... plain (not the right word but...) there's really nothing about it that stands out, but it does everything you want it to do.Seattle and Minnesota are nicer from an esthetic standpoint though. Toronto I was there before the recent renovations and the lid was closed, and the team sucked at the time, but it was easy to get in and out, view was fine from where I was in the TD Comfort Zone. Easy to get food and take a piss. Average experience. Probably would be very different now, or with the lid open or a packed house. San Francisco still takes the cake for me. Everything about watching that game was excellent. Views are incredible, people were nice, easy to get food, drinks, and get in and out even from the nosebleeds. Great walk around the stadium and the neighborhood, though still not even close to the former Yawkey Way (now Jersey Street).
  14. while not having experienced old or new Yankee stadium, one key thing that developers need to consider is how to modernize new buildings but still keep the history of the old building as a focal point. Yankee stadium tried to do that with the monument park and some other things according to what I've read, but then they screwed the pooch by being allowed to just build using the same old dimensions, continuing the problem of RF being a joke. Like, building a "new" Fenway is about as hard a task as you could get. Rebuilding the Green Monster, pesky pole and the ridiculous dimensions of that field really should not be done, but everyone would cry if they didn't. At least Wrigley could fairly easily duplicate the ivy walls with a new stadium.
  15. I'm a little more harsh on my take of Fenway, but ... yes. There's only so much lipstick you can put on a pig these days. Boston having a real modern stadium to play in, ditto the Cubs... would be actually amazing for both those franchises. Just don't grandfather in BS dimensions like they did with Yankee stadium because reasons.
  16. Precisely. If anything, Atkins deserves major credit for bolstering the rotation the way he did just in case something exactly like this happened. The Ponce thing though... gut punch to the guy for sure.
  17. grabbed some quick data from umpscorecards from 2015 when Bucknor ranked as one of the most accurate umpires at 90.91% which was almost a full 1% over expected accuracy. Fast forward to 2025. Bucknor actually improved his accuracy over time up to 92.81%. Problem is.... that's BELOW his expected accuracy rate by 0.6. To put some of this in perspective... the WORST umpire's accuracy in 2025 (92.5% - im excluding the guy with only 4 games behind the plate due to sample size)was BETTER than virtually every ump in 2015. The BEST ump's accuracy in 2015 was 92.68. umpires as a whole have improved tremendously over the past 10 years. Bucknor himself has even improved. The problem is, the rest of the umps as a whole have improved to a far greater degree.
  18. Why be sorry for pointing out a stupid statement is stupid?
  19. Springer (1) Schneider (3) - Jonn, Orgfiller Vlad (1) - Laika Kaz(2) Kirk (3) Clement (3) - John_Havok Sanchez (2) Straw (5) Gimenez (3) Bench (10) - mphenhef
  20. Auburn hadn't been with the Jays since 2010, basically Vancouver replaced them at the time as the SS A affiliate, but they changed that up pretty soon since some players coming out of college and international settings couldnt play there due to visa issues. But yes, the NY Penn league was still around for other teams to use.
