  1. Biggest issue is you have a couple of average to below average corner outfield defenders with a starting staff that’s full of fly ball pitchers
  2. Not worried about finding PA’s for Davis Schneider Ernie Clement becomes the best fifth infielder in the league Barger can still play third and right
  3. The Dodgers always feel more likely to trade top prospects for impact players than they are to rely on them making an impact
  4. Youll have to take that up with Passan obviously this isn’t the most likely outcome. But if anybody is willing to go 11/350 for Tucker why not consider Bo - 7/189 Bregman - 5/150 =339M committed Less years two 4 WAR projections vs 1 No need to fill your OF spot because Barger does Luxury tax bill does not phase Ed Rogers
  5. Starting to wonder if they Jays can realistically pivot to Bregman and Bichette maybe 350 total which is roughly what you would assume Tucker would end up with
  6. Lots of contact, walks, plays above average defense. Sounds like the prototypical Blue Jay in 2025
  7. Time to circle back on Max Muncy
  8. Yup Jassssson is another the league should stay away from
  9. Doubtful but they probably could do Bregman and Bichette
  10. Any team that bails out the Yankees and takes Spencer Jones back as a headlining piece in a big move will look like massive fools
  11. So the White Sox got him for 2/34 Safe to say his market was pretty much non existent
  12. Rogers is always strapped with liquid cash 13M is chump change to them
  13. O’s should trade for a starter. Coby Mayo has nowhere to play now
  14. Hilarious if true
  15. Sounds like 2/22 for Keller
  16. I thought this meant a signing was imminent last night until I realized it’s a Tyler Rogers reference
  17. Ha-Seong Kim forced the Braves to pay full price because he’s the only SS available other than Bo
  18. That would make sense and first time I’ve heard somebody make that argument. Whoever signs him will be betting on their hitting guys to get him to more contact its interesting that from 2020-2022 his K rate was 22% and over the past three seasons it’s ballooned to 28% It feels like buying a top prospect who is a tweak away from being a star, but it’s guaranteed money. Jo Adell type hitter with a 10% walk rate
  19. I guess you haven’t heard Murakami’s whiff rate on fastballs over 93 lol
  20. Tucker is my choice because I doubt he gets 36 AAV Thinking like 32M/year with deferrals
  21. He's top 10 in WAR over the last 5 years. Maybe he doesn’t have the name value to be considered a true superstar, but he’s definitely more than a really good player
  22. Interesting signing. Seems like a lot
  23. Jonny I agree with you. I think our bullpen is fine as is and would be totally satisfied adding one of the second tier guys. I’m sure Diaz and Garcia will both end up working out fine, and I guess if in a perfect world they weren’t paying Berrios and Santander 40M they could make sense but for now a hitter has to be priority number 1
  24. Cant have your cake and eat it too Ill prioritize the guy who plays 150 games over the guy whose value hinges on a ligament Some people wanna pay 23M/year for 60 innings. To each their own
