Well in order for 85 wins to get WC3 someone is going to have to on a real heater and play .700+ baseball CLE: 15-7 TOR/TEX: 15-6 BAL: 16-5 I don’t see any of these teams doing that Texas schedule isn’t easy. They play TB SEA AZ BOS TOR NYM MIN

Seems like usually down the stretch we’re playing the Yankees and the Rays. With this schedule the boys control their destiny 13-8 gets you to 83-79. WC3 will not be .500 so that gives you a margin of error of 1 game. I know Texas for sure has the tie breaker, not sure vs the Indians Cleveland has Detroit, Texas has the Rays and Baltimore has Boston Have to have a couple sweeps and can’t get swept. The Texas series is going to feel like a playoff series

Long man at most They aren’t going to start with Spencer Miles in the #5 spot. They earned the right to option him after keeping him in the bigs all year. They’ll certainly be taking advantage of that
