If we take a bat, I hope we end up taking someone who profiles as a guy who can make contact, instead of these 4 tool players who do everything but hit. What do guys like Meadows and Peterson appear like as contact makers?

Is this the real Adam we're seeing again? Who knows. He's been having terrific at bats this last month. With the financial bind this club is in though, 7 mil next year is a lot to put up with a good chance he returns to his old 3 year average self. Especially when a guy like Hafner signs for 2 mil.
