  1. You’re cookin this morning Kirk should be hitting clean up
  2. You’re right. Schneider went full nerd mode and used the entire bench which is compromised of defense first guys, not really known for their bats. It’s almost as if the “it takes a village” mantra killed them tonight. You don’t always have to use everyone
  3. Haven’t thought about old Uncle Charles in a minute
  4. The other piss off is pinch running Schneider for France. Why not just give DS the at bat instead? Got way too cute tonight Dodger bats are soft right now. Series still within reach but obviously tomorrow is must win I’d walk The Gambler every single AB tomorrow aside from the bottom of one. Make the rest of them beat you
  5. It was just premature. I don’t understand pinch running when he’s on first. If he’s on second then okay but at that point it really didn’t serve any purpose
  6. Only upside is that the Dodger starters played two games tonight. The Jays only played one
  7. Tough to win with the crayon crew out there Got too cute bringing in Hieny and Straw when it wasn’t really necessary
  8. Was hoping he’d get in in Toronto and Jays fans would have him crying on the mound booing him
  9. They can get to Glasnow I feel fine with that match up. How they get the outs is the big question. Max is a fly ball guy and believe it or not Dodger Stadium has the highest HR Factor in the league. Maybe being later in the year helps mitigate that a little, only a high of 24 today. All factors No walks and no home runs. Easier said than done Would be nice to see Louie Varland turn in a clean inning tonight, you know he’s throwing
  10. I still love this post lolll
  11. They are swinging harder With A-Swing intentions And striking out less than everyone else what more could you want?
  12. I think this was the ultimate big sack move. Trey is starting two games regardless, nobody knew what was in store for BB
  13. Super curious to see how he looks Im rolling with him either way but I hope he can at least go 1st to 3rd or score from second etc ..
  14. For sure. There’s a reason why tweener guys like Schneider end up as 2B/LF … because they’re the two easiest positions on the field All the worry about Bo playing on the right side is overblown I hope he looks good physically. All the video I’ve seen of him doesn’t convince me. But how do you say no to him in this spot
  15. Love that they have the balls to do this They are gonna have to take some chances to beat the Dodgers and this shows they’re willing to do it
  16. Myles f***ing Straw drawing the start in Game 1 of the World Series What a year this has been
  17. Making the move from SS to 2B for a professional middle infielder is not a big deal. Field ball throw ball. Stand where the khakis tell you to. the real question is if he is healthy enough to actually play D and run the bases. Every video I’ve seen leads me to believe that he can’t yet Id still put him on the roster
  18. I’m confident they’ll be able to handle the Dodger staff as well. They’ve beat elite pitching all season including the post season. The series will hinge on the Jays pitching and like you said more precisely probably the bullpen. We can’t have Louie Varland giving up bombs to Muncy in games two, four and five
  19. Pitching is going to have to have the best 10 days of their lives to survive the Dodgers. The offense will be fine against the rotation they’ve beat up on good pitching all year and post season (Fried, Rodon, Gilbert x2, Kirby) But we aren’t going to have a good time if we don’t get some gutsy performances from the rotation and pen alike
  20. That’s a lot of money to spend Certainly need to bring in two starters. Probably one on a multi year deal and another one year signing like Scherzer. No need to get tunnel vision on Bieber either, Ross will let the market play out as he always does
