  1. Making the move from SS to 2B for a professional middle infielder is not a big deal. Field ball throw ball. Stand where the khakis tell you to. the real question is if he is healthy enough to actually play D and run the bases. Every video I’ve seen leads me to believe that he can’t yet Id still put him on the roster
  2. I’m confident they’ll be able to handle the Dodger staff as well. They’ve beat elite pitching all season including the post season. The series will hinge on the Jays pitching and like you said more precisely probably the bullpen. We can’t have Louie Varland giving up bombs to Muncy in games two, four and five
  3. Pitching is going to have to have the best 10 days of their lives to survive the Dodgers. The offense will be fine against the rotation they’ve beat up on good pitching all year and post season (Fried, Rodon, Gilbert x2, Kirby) But we aren’t going to have a good time if we don’t get some gutsy performances from the rotation and pen alike
  4. That’s a lot of money to spend Certainly need to bring in two starters. Probably one on a multi year deal and another one year signing like Scherzer. No need to get tunnel vision on Bieber either, Ross will let the market play out as he always does
  5. Bo looks like he’s running at 30% in that tweet
  6. Bryce Miller is not good, I can’t see him stifling the offense again especially now that they are rolling. I would imagine they have Bryan Woo on standby ready to go at the first sign of trouble. At least they should with Gilbert and Kirby lined up for 6&7
  7. Would rather have Straw in the OF than IKF on the dirt
  8. Not worried about Castillo, the offense will be fine with him on the bump. With Max starting I think you have to go Straw/Varsho/Lukes defensively in the outfield tonight to start. Max is the fly ball king and I don’t wanna see Santander out there navigating Safeco
  9. They had a plan and it was to ambush the guy with 80 grade command
  10. Agreed 100%. With Vladdy around forever this rivalry will be alive and well for a long time I think.
  11. I forgot this happened. Myles Straw yelling f*** the Yankees is even better now
  12. Cheers fellas!! Sealing it on the road was absolute perfection
  13. Here we go boys!!!!! Boston was the better matchup but taking down the Yanks would feel so damn good
  14. Welcome to the board, Anal
  15. Varland + Yesavage I really wanna see Louis get the top of the Yanks order before passing it off to the long man to open one of these games
  16. Would you wanna listen to Bad Bunny and talk about J and PB’s while stuck in traffic ??
  17. SN1 has the Padres and Cubs, the rest of them are on Sportsnet Regional channels
  18. If there ever is a time to do so it’s the playoffs, it’s like hitting reset. Easy to justify and less resistance because you’re doing whatever it takes to win He probably gets the first save chance but I doubt they’re married to him at this point
  19. That’s what makes him an X factor If he was David Bednar we wouldn’t be wondering what we’ll get from him I would tell the pen guys any of them could be used at any point. Last thing I would do is give every 9th inning to Hoff
  20. The thing about good hitters is they can break their slump and get hot out of nowhere. Look at Kirk for example The Jays will go as far as Vlad takes them. Him and Hoffman are the X factors for me
