    Pretty hilarious. Little punch hitter gets jacked and increases his average and max EV by 3-4 mph, and also tweaks his approach to bring his average launch angle up to 16.5 degrees. What you've seen from Espinal so far this year in terms of power and approach is basically Alex Bregman. With less walks.

    Espinal already has as many barrels this year (4) as his entire pre-2022 MLB career. He's second on the team in barrels so far, behind Vlad. That's... great for him but actually not great for the team. Other than Vlad, Espinal, Jansen (hurt) and Collins everyone else is kind of struggling to find their stroke. The xwOBAs of Gurriel, Chapman, Bichette, Kirk, and Springer all are not great.
