Haven't been yet this year but I don't think they are touching those seats until next offseason
by field level outfield I mean the seats in foul territory down the LF/RF lines
field level outfield are horrendous at Rogers Centre. far from the action and the seats don't even point at home plate.
500 level near the infield, on the railing = good value
200 level somewhere along the baseline, on the railing = good spot
Do "average income" people really sit in the lower bowl right now though?
For the most part I see middle class people do that only rarely. Like, birthday present tickets or something. Most of the time the middle class family tries to sit in field level outfield seats, or somewhere along the baselines in the 200 level. Or in the outfield. And the poor college aged people or working class boozers sit in the 500s.
I'm not even sure he has the stuff of a consistent #3 SP. His Stuff / Location numbers so far this year make him look more like.... Brad Keller or something.
Not too early. The measurements that help in small sample sizes are very concerning for a couple guys.
Stuff+ 2022 ; 2023
Manoah 99 ; 94
Bassitt 98 ; 87
So for Manoah and Bassitt they are getting bad results, they look bad, and the fancy stats say their stuff is down significantly. Disgusting.
The other three:
Gausman 109 ; 117
Berrios 100 ; 99
Kikuchi 107 ; 107
Kikuchi is of course encouraging so far but it's reasonable to expect him to explode at some point, just based on his track record.
There is zero reason to worry about Guasman.
Berrios... has a good K/BB and FIP so far, but a poor ERA. He simply remains an enigma. The pitching models don't see him as any different than last year, all things considered.
Just flew with a toddler and 1 year old
Couldn't imagine leaving that much food debris on an airplane floor
A movie theater or ballgame is simply not the same context. Different environment, different burdens on the staff who need to clean up, etc.
Another factor is that it's not an intense sport for most players. So they don't physically need a lot of days off.
The only players who need rest days after playing are starting pitchers.
