G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted Monday at 05:54 PM Posted Monday at 05:54 PM As of today, 21 out of the 30 MLB teams are either currently in a playoff position or within 3 games of the final wild-card berth. Very few definite sellers but several on the bubble

Forever92 Verified Member Posted yesterday at 09:58 AM Posted yesterday at 09:58 AM So many good players had bad seasons this year. I don't think I ever seen this before. Not just Vlad and Varsho, but Bichette, Cal Raleigh, Kyle Tucker. Whom you all wanted last season. Terminator 1

The diagnosis was a bruised left wrist. Tracy said the team would evaluate him again Tuesday with the possibility of further testing. Mead is day-to-day. hanton 1

But Houston just added an absolute Superstar on the mound. I do think the Jays will regret not being more aggressive in his market. He will strike out everybody. To be fair the strikeouts have been there so he wasn't wrong on that part.

Obviously meant as sarcasm but not entirely inaccurate. In Japan they celebrate their stars and players even when things are going poorly. American culture you can be the hero one minute and everyones punching bag the next. Yankees fans boo Aaron Judge when he slumps. Imai has opened up about his struggles multiple times about the culture, life style changes, issues being away from family. It all kind of takes its toll. It also doesn’t help help that he experienced dead arm and the MLB Travel schedule is a lot more taxing than what they see in NPB. if people here really want to try to dog on me for saying I wanted him on this team because I think he can be very good that’s fine. I still think that. His ERA is inflated and obviously the walks have been high but I like a lot of the other numbers. Once he gets things situated in the off-season I would not be shocked if he bounced back next season as one of the better pitchers in Baseball. He has that kind of ability.
Laika Community Moderator Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago lmao I was joking but it turns out that is what you were referring to. hilarious I don't think anybody cares that you were wrong. Happens all the time in baseball opinionating. Stuff models think his stuff is garbage so I really don't see any hope. I think he has to nibble because his stuff gets hammered. Not sure why it doesn't play over here.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago That's fair - I can only imagine how difficult the adjustment is. The ball is different too, which must be really challenging for some pitchers.
