He really needs to use Fisher more in high leverage situations instead of working Louis every day like a slave.

He seem no trust Fisher and Rodriguez,  despite they was very useful this year. The same happens with Little,  but on that one, he's right 😄

And John Schneider managed a great game.  But the Schneider haters still pop up like whack-a-mole rodents.

The Jays just put a bit of a beating on the Dodgers and Ohtani but based on the neurotic tone of some of the posts you’d think the score was reversed.

Someone didn't watch his last start against the Brewers. He didn't hit tonight cause the Jays executed!

I watched the other game he pitched and commentators said that, obviously someone was not listening.

Jays won in spite of JS.

How do you figure? The lineup produced very well and the pitching moves generally worked out nicely as well. The starters were largely left in for the entire game as well.

The only complain, is that he over use our best relievers when this isn't needed. It's no like we have plenty of good relievers.  So everytime he use Varland and Hoffman when isn't needed, mean they will be unavailable in situations we need them, and unfortunately will have use guys like Little, Fisher , in pressure situations.  In game 5, should expect Yesevage to pitch 5-6 innings,  then will need the bullpen

No he didn't.  Biebs and Bassitt won this game.

What was so bad about how Schneider managed the game that the team won in spite of him? This is just nonsense criticism.

It's why Adkins bet on him, he don't have the same stuff he had before Tommy Jones injury,  but he's far better than guys like Bowden Francis or Lucas

Replacing Bassitt with Varland was ridiculous.  That hard hit by Call 5 feet to the left or right, it's 6-3 with the top of the order up and a man on.

There was a 3 way conversation between Bassitt, Schneider and Walker before the move was made. The team used one of their trusted relievers in a World Series game to close it out, there’s nothing ridiculous about it.

Huge win with the season on the line!

This group showed huge resilience especially after last night’s heartbreaking loss and losing Springer. What a big win against Ohtani and the Dodgers!

Vladdy hitting that HR off of Ohtani was huge! Best against the best! Bittersweet to see our superstar who signed an extension here hit a huge HR off a player who shunned the Jays during free agency!

Fluharty came up huge after Bieber as well! Seems like he doesn’t mind pitching under the bright lights at Dodgers Stadium. We even saw him with that big outing back in August during the Sunday finale.

I would have preferred Bassitt finishing the game in the ninth instead of dipping more into the pen. He was rolling in the 7th and 8th innings. Would have been nice to save Varland and not have to warm up Hoffman. Regardless, Jays won which is the most important!
