Have to hope Springer and Bichette are playing. Doesn’t look likely for Springer. Bichette depends on whether he was pulled last night due to injury or not. With DH possibly open now with Springer’s injury then that seems like a more logical spot for him.

If both Springer and Bo are out, then I’m sleeping at 9:30 tonight.

Pretty sure Bo was pulled for carefulness rather than an actual problem

Springer I'm much more worried about :(

Wonder how many times Dave Roberts will intentionally walk Gimenez to get to pitch to Babe Schneider like last night? 😜

Lol what a move

Anytime you hate a John Schneider move just take a look at the other team's manager and he'll have done something worse

Has there been any word about Springer?

Only that he’s day to day but that means nothing

I would be shocked if Springer was bad enough last night to pull himself from the game, and was fine 16 or whatever hours later. I would think he's out tonight at a minimum, and probably tomorrow, with a chance to have the off day before game 6 if there is one, and gut it out.

Meanwhile Bichette at DH might keep his bat in the lineup the entire game which would be nice.

Lukes

Bichette

Vladdy

Kirk

Varsho

...would be my batting order. The absolute key tonight is making Ohtani throw a s*** ton of pitches early, because their bullpen is roasted after last night. I mean, ours is too, but...Dodgers hitters aren't that intimidating outside Ohtani.

And maybe if we're lucky whatever leg injury Ohtani is dealing with affects his pitching negatively.

He doesn’t have a leg injury. He had a cramp.

George Springer double Kirk Gibson moments 2025 postseason in LA?

Maybe?

I don't understand how he could possibly get an A swing off after what we saw when he got hurt last night, and if he can't do his A swing he's frankly not much of a player. Would be shocking to see him in the lineup.

Well he most likely gets at bats today or tomorrow unless they are willing to wait one game to see if they need to sub him

Dodgers title will be tainted just as Raptors was in 2019.

2019 - Durant and Thompson go down

2025 - Bichette and now Springer hobbled.

2020 - Tainted because of Covid

2024 - Tainted because 3 Yankee errors gift wrapped game 5

2025 - Tainted because of Bichette and Springer injuries.

Terrible take.

I half joke.  The Yankees one obviously silly.

However with healthy Springer and Bichette Jays would probably be up 2-1 in this series.

I honestly don't think the Raptors title is tainted at all.  They had to get through a Bucks team that was very good and won a title soon after, and had to get through the Durant-less Warriors team who won 2 titles and 73 games in other Durant-less years.

Depending on how the next games go I will taint the Dodgers 2025 title (if they win).  They are down 2-1 right now in my mind with healthy Springer and Bichette.

The ’93 Jays had solid pitching. Not flashy, but steady—guys like Jack Morris kept the other team’s bats in check so the offense could do its thing. Their pitching was all about grinding innings and staying reliable. That balance helped them close out games and win the title.

Jumping to 2025, pitching looks a bit different. Now they’ve got big names like Max Scherzer and Kevin Gausman taking the mound with some young arms like Shane Bieber. They’ve faced tough moments too, including that insane 18-inning marathon in Game 3. This pitching staff has the firepower but needs to stay strong through those long, pressure-packed innings.

So, ’93 was steady and clutch on the mound, while the 2025 team has more star power and depth. Both teams show they can hang tough when it counts. If the 2025 Jays keep their pitching locked in, they’ve got a great shot at making history again.

This Springer injury friggin SUCKS

Its one of those things... if the injury is bad enough to get shelved, that is objectively terrible. But, if they remove him they can add a pitcher.

But there's 0 people that want that. Everyone wants Springer to be game ready and good to go.

Actually, I think they have to replace him with a position player
