The start time is likely based on what time they think will get the most eye balls. Sunday afternoon during the NFL season is not ideal for any other sport, and 8 pm seems to be every major network's prime time sweet spot. Stangstag, neverbeenhere and HomeRunHomer 3

I think that's impossible. Schneider never regretted his decision. He's definitely going to use him again to prove something.

These things are solely based on how to maximize the money earned. MLB prefers WS matches between new york and LA teams, because that makes them earn most. This time however they are hoping for a WS between Dodgers and Blue Jays, because viewership for a WS between LA and TO will likely surpass that between NY and LA based on the viewership for ALDS between Yankees and Blue Jays, I am told.

neverbeenhere Verified Member Posted October 19, 2025 Posted October 19, 2025 I guess managerial decisions may have the most impact in baseball only, one foolish decision by JS could have thrown away the entire season for the team, I don't think that is that critical in other sports.

SeranthonySantander Verified Member Posted October 19, 2025 Posted October 19, 2025 They should force the players to play a 9 month season. Maybe do 4 games a week. 162 games. Teams save a bit by rostering one or two less pitchers. More rest between games. Every team has to get a roof. Learn to play in the cold.

SeranthonySantander Verified Member Posted October 19, 2025 Posted October 19, 2025 This is why you can’t trust googles Ai. I asked it what is the start time for the MLB game today it came up with this AI Overview +1 There are no Major League Baseball (MLB) games scheduled for today, October 19, 2025. The MLB season has concluded, with the final game of the World Series taking place on October 26, 2025. The MLB season is over: The 2025 MLB season concluded before today's date. No games are scheduled: Because the season is over, there are no games scheduled for today

But honestly, this season is already a win. From the crap season they had last year, to missing out on the latest top dollar free agent to winning the division and the ALDS... everything from that point on is gravy. 0 people thought the Jays were legit AL East contenders. 0 people though they would win the DS. This season is already a massive win for the team. Whether the season ends tonight or not there is absolutely no reason to mad at how the season and playoffs went. None. Pinkfloid 1
