Jays never play well in TB or KC, so this is expected, hopefully they can avoid the sweep tomorrow and head back home on a winning note. Still feeling confident we will win the division, 6 home games to end the season at least and we have the best home record in baseball.

It's called a slump, happens to every team. We still have the best offense in baseball, they will turn it around, better to slump now then in the playoffs. We play much better at home, and we finish there with 6 games. Let's not jump off a cliff here

Getting a first round by will be massive. It's not just the obvious advantage with the pitchers getting rested and aligned, but in our case, the offence could get jolted for the better with a four day break.

You used a statistic that includes a heavy dose of DEFENSE to suggest that we have the best OFFENSE in baseball because you knew you couldn't stick just to the offensive ones.

Actually I find the panic level to be quite tame. 

And fans are not turning on each other, the same ones that always annoy one another continue to annoy one another.

Perfectly normal Saturday.

Sure doesn't take much to get the chicken Littles running around dodging pieces of sky.

These are most likely the same people who thought the Jays were trash at the start of the season and should rebuild (LMAO) and now they are unhappy with the Jays again while they are 2 games ahead of any other team in the entire American League with just 7 games left.

 

Playing in Tampa and KC has not been kind to this franchise, need some home cooking again.

I was reading through and most of the conversation wasn't even about the game itself. 

I like to join in on the annoyance sometimes so I felt a little FOMO. 

But the offense is in a funk, no need to panic. It would be nice to see some runs scored tomorrow for sure.

Well there's definitely reason to be concerned. 

A two game lead with seven to play is still a two game lead with seven to play. Very blow-able.

But the odds are still pretty heavily in the Blue Jays favour because of that tiebreaker that they clinch the East.

But, it's sports so anything can happen in the last 7 days.

Be concerned, sure. But that's far different from panicking. Another game with less than 2 runs will definitely be alarming. But baseball is as unpredictable as going from today's game to scoring 12 runs tomorrow. 

 

We'll see how they show up for tomorrow's game.

Very true.

Like everyone else here, I’d prefer to see them lock this s*** up earlier rather than later, but it’s also possible the bats start to heat up going into the postseason…starting tmw would be good.
