Yeah the ghost runner should only be used after the 11th/12th inning to keep the games from going on excessively.

Offense needs to get things going. The problem is I don’t know how much more they can produce. Vladdy has been this version of Vladdy all year. Just ok. We are a singles, doubles team when they are on. When they aren’t they really struggle to produce offense.

It is quite astonishing that he can't even foul off a high fastball, I mean hitters have their weaknesses in their swing but I've never seen one who literally is physically incapable of touching the ball in a certain part of the strike zone. It's almost beyond belief.

Offense has stunk for the last few series. I don’t know what’s wrong with Vladdy and his power but you can’t pay a player 500 million who’s can’t get you homeruns and not produce when it counts. Offense  has always been my biggest concern this year. It’s just a very bland lineup. Small ball is important but so is the long ball in the playoffs.

Tough go for our deadline acquisitions. We would have won had Varland done his job and we also would have won had Dominguez done his job. Mark down a loss for both of them. Very poor showings.

What a great trade Shatkins made when they got Varsho. In terms of hitting it would be nice if we didn’t always go bargain basement shopping in free agency and when trading. Santander was supposed to be good but it just hasn’t worked out.

Well at the end of the day, the two things that people weren't thrilled about for each of these guys was lack of command with one and lack of whiff with the other. We now have two pitchers, one left handed and one right handed, that strike out a lot of guys but we'd be nervous to bring either one in with runners on.

It's still a flawed bullpen. The hope is that enough of them are on their game that we can find a way through.

Well he said how he can run down a ball on defense because of his experience as a catcher but how about hitting a baseball using his experience as a catcher. I guess he isn’t very good at doing that.

Well in fairness they went after two generational talents in the last 2 years, they just didn't want to come here.
