I honestly thought it was weird myself why he would do that while battling for a full time MLB spot.

It's literally a once in a lifetime thing for a player to watch his father be inducted into the baseball hall of fame. I think it would be weird for a second generation major leaguer to pass up on this type of occasion.

Merrill Kelly to Texas

Yeah those motherf***ers really needed more rotation help.

Damn that will not be a fun team to face in the playoffs. Think of the top three that's coming your way.

Given the low prices, if we don't add a reliever, one has to assume that we didn't even want one. Solid guys are going for #10-20 ranked guys in bad systems.

In the bullpen only Rodriguez,  Dominguez, Fisher can be trusted. Hoffman he's inconsistent, same with Little. So adding a good reliever, with most of our SP who can give us 6-7 innings , we will always have good bullpen options.

Weird they have it mid-season. Seems like the sort of thing you'd do after the World Series concludes

It would make a ton of sense to have it over All-Star weekend, but... the Baseball HOF loves doing it's own thing

Will made his choice. And then Ross made his.

Last I checked Will Wagner was on a major league roster. In fact he was receiving regular starts on one of MLB's best teams.

If my dad was in the hall of fame I'd be on a major league roster too. I'd even have the same amount of dingers.

First Andrew Chafin and now Patton Oswald Peraza. This infusion of talent is just what the Angels needed to get over the hump.

I'll grant you the second claim but there's not a snowball's chance in hell for the first outrageous claim.

Arjun, Yesevage,  Tidermann and few other prospects. Then can trade Bassit or Berrios

When Lukes' wife was giving birth earlier this season, Lukes was like "tell me how it went babe, I'll be in the outfield". He's now the lead off hitter. Ross doesn't play.
