Have the Jays played the Yankees this season? I can't recall a series between them.

Jays played Yankees in a 3 game set at Yankees stadium. I remember Kirk having a big hit late to win the first one. But we lost a double header after that.

Scherzer will have to be even better than last game to give us a shot. Yankees are tough.

The first time the Jays played the Yankees was during that awful 4-12 stretch so hopefully with the team playing much better over the last 7 weeks this series will turn out differently. 

The Jays have been performing very well in their limited plate appearances vs left handed pitching so hopefully they can at least take one of the first two games of the series.

Split is a success IMO. 3/4 is ideal

I'd be thrilled with taking 3/4 and won't be upset with a split

If the Jays could take one of the games against Rodon or Fried, I like their chances at winning 3 of 4.

Yankees have had mostly very good starting pitching despite the absence of Cole.

Offense has also continued to be fantastic even with the loss of Soto. 

They deserve credit

Dang with that much going on the Yankees must never lose.  oh yeah, only 3 in front of Jays so either Jays are just as good or you are giving them way to much credit.

If the Jays can go 3-1 here there is a good chance we pass them before the break. 2-2 and it will be close.

Jays finish with vs. LAA, @CWS (revenge series) and @OAK.

Yanks finish with @NYM, vs. SEA and vs. CHC.

Barger in there against the LHP makes sense. 

Wagner over Gimenez is interesting. 

Schneider over Lukes/Clase. 

Funny that DS has a .350 OBP right now. He has been horrible but he is one or two swings away from having a 100 wRC+. 

I am sick of Clase. Too bad Orelvis Martinez got caught cheating and sucks now. 

What happened with Kasevich? he came back in May for a few rehab games but stopped playing.

Yankees placed Fernando Cruz on the IL. He's been a big piece in their bullpen this season.
