Clase isn’t exactly lighting the world on fire (outside of tonight) and he may or may not turn out to be something but he gets up there and takes his hacks and has good ABs

Just a totally different vibe from someone like Roden

That Clark catch has to be in the top 10 all time

I was thinking about that but I don't know, of course we have to split hairs when talking about greatest of all time plays but it is a standard wall and that helps. Pillar might have three or four that are higher degree of difficulty than that just on his own. Jim Edmonds might have a couple. There's a few more I can think of off the top of my head.

Still an amazing catch though.

Carries himself well, someone said it earlier, he has some swag.

Yes he does, he has never looked rattled since he's come up. What will that translate into? I don't know it depends what his true talent is but he won't fail out of fear I'll say that for the kid.

Yep swag and maturity

I remember he f***ed up in the field in one of his first games and he got back out there the next day and looked fine

Mental midgets like Roden on the other hand strike out their first AB and you can guarantee he’s not getting a hit the rest of the day. Starts panicking and slapping 70 mph grounders to third base all day.

This has gotta be one of the best catches I've seen in a long time.  This kid is special man!!

I hope he hits enough to be a regular as he has a chance to be the best outfield defender in the history of the sport. It's like he combines the elite jumps and instincts of Daulton Varsho except with elite physical tools on top of that.

Hoffman has gotta be the best 5.65ERA player in the game lol

I think he needs to chill on the splitters a bit until he irons out the command. He hung one in the middle of the plate in the last AB and was lucky it wasn't hit a few feet to the left or right or we'd be talking about a blown save.

I had no problem with the pitching changes, just didn't work out. s*** happens.

Exactly this. YRod hadn't given up a run in over a month and had fully earned more leverage opportunities.
