Paxton gets the start.  Lauer coming in behind him.

Pitching matchup favours them easily. Then again both these teams don't score much. If I'm a betting man, I stay far away from this game.

This is a huge game.

We win tonight and it's a series W with the lowly A's coming to TO for a 4 game set.

I can smell the playoff contention.

You could say…. This is a game they must win

For my sanity sake, can we fire Schneider today.  Vasho has a .227 OBP and sees no pitches.  He's batting leadoff.  Taters has a .588 OPS and is batting in the slot reserved for your best hitter.  I'm assuming Bo is not healthy, but if he is and Bo and Kirk are getting days off on the same day...wtf.  Schneider seems like a nice dude, but I've had enough.

Reeks of front office decisions. They probably had these offdays planned a month ago

We need a manager that will tell the front office to f*** off.  There's a reason they didn't go get Tito when he was available in the offseason.

I don't know, Bo DH'ed yesterday and followed by an off day reeks of injury, the Kirk decision doesn't make a whole lot of sense though, hah.

These guys can't win.  Keep the lineup the same and people complain they don't mix it up enough.  Mix it up on a night where it seems likely Bo is hurt/unavailable and they get sh*t on.

Who do you want getting more at bats this evening than Varsho?  Vlad maybe?  Lukes? Barger?

Santander seems like it's a confidence thing - they're trying something different.

We've scored like 2 runs in the past 5 games and people are up in arms over the lineup construction?  I have news for you - they all kinda suck and it's unlikely to matter one bit who bats where.

I think we should bat Vlad 9th.  He'll be so pissed he's batting so low, I'm sure he would hit a homer.

Hey folks, we all complain about John Schneider sticking with the status quo, like batting Springer leadoff while he struggled last year. Now that he seemingly is showing a sense of urgency and is trying to mix things up he is getting tarred and feathered. I'm no Schneider acolyte but I admire his new found boldness with the lineup card. At least he's trying. I hope it pays off.

LET'S GO BLUE JAYS!!!!

There is clearly something wrong with your nose. Also, the lowly A’s only have 3 less wins than the Blue Jays.

Batting order has a very small impact on runs scored. Having a roster that can't hit is what we should be concerned about.

Schneiderball is using hitters with a .227 OBP and a .274 OBP, respectively, to lead off for your 500 million dollar man

Jays win 6-4

Leadoff walk.

Schneiderball is off to a good start.
