This game so far is all the proof anyone should need as to why HR power is vital in today's MLB. 

You aren't gonna get many hits off aces that often, so when you do...they better be over the fence as often as possible

When Sandlin comes back...another excellent addition to that depth. 

If Swanson and Burr also come back to their potential, some guys are gonna get shuffled that don't deserve to...but that's a great problem to have

Nice win to open up the series against the Padres! 

Took care of Cease for Game 1 and now just have Vasquez and Kolek. Avoided King and Pivetta at least!

Vasquez is loooooong overdue for a blowup game tomorrow.

In 44.1 IP, he has 23 Ks and 26 BBs with a 3.45 ERA lol. His xFIP is nearly 6.00.

Petco was one of my favourite ballparks I've visited. Definitely Top 3. Ballpark is in an excellent location as well, right next to the Gaslamp Quarters. 

Prefer San Diego as a city to chill and explore over LA everyday of the week!

He's been rock steady in May. 26.3% K-BB%. The cliche term would be "he started trusting his stuff more", but he literally just stopped walking hitters and getting more whiffs, so whatever changed has made him a key piece of the bullpen in any spot.
