John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 Why do I giggle every time they say Mastrobuoni...?
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 6-9 in our lineup can be called the babip boys!
Masterbather Verified Member Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 This would be a horribly frustrating game to watch as a Mariners fan.

Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 Vlad getting under everything or driving it into the ground. He can't win.

hanton Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 as we've been saying the kid needs to play HomeRunHomer 1
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 Great to see Barger go yard in his home state where he has lots of family at the game. Happy for him Spanky99 1
Gen.Disarray Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 That got out in a hurry. Watching Barger crush baseballs is very satisfying. I'd love to see him smash a golf ball
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 Hehe more fun with numbers... one ball gets hit at 107.2 EV and 21 degrees... goes 363 for a HR next ball gets hit at 105.4 EV and 21 degrees, goes 8 FEET FURTHER... for a double.
gruber9292 Verified Member Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 So it looks like it's Barger and Lukes for the foreseeable future with Roden and Wagner as depth.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 This is the game and series that is going to give us all irrational hope for the rest of the season... Imagine a top 5 of Bo actually hitting, Vlad murdering baseballs, Santander coming back and hitting taters, followed by a performing Barger and Springer. Boner inducing. max silver, Spanky99 and Gen.Disarray 3
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 12 hits... 9 runs. THATS HOW YOU DO BASEBALL DONNIE
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 Even though Lauer is cruising, Schneider will use at least three more arms to finish this game.
Doubleplay21 Verified Member Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 Giménez as a bench player would the future of the Jays. Need someone to take that big contract for a .200 hitter.
Masterbather Verified Member Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 I'm not sure how this Mariners team has been winning so much lately.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 I swear this is the only fan base that complains about the managers pitching moves when the opposition has 1 run on 3 hits over 7 innings. max silver and Spanky99 2

He has a propensity of overworking his pen. We've seen it already this season with Hoffman, Garcia. John Gibbons was great at saving his arms.

A. That's not true, every fan base is the same. B. If they only complain when management decisions go poorly that's just hindsight. I actually didn't see an issue with any of his pitching decisions today. They were sensible. hanton and max silver 2

glory Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2025 Posted May 11, 2025 Schneider probably threw a tantrum between innings knowing he couldn't use Hoffman or Garcia in this game due to the score. Seriously though, great to see the bats waking up. They needed at least one (likely more than that) young bat to turn into something, and maybe we are seeing that with Barger.
