Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2025 Posted May 1, 2025 This game is proving to ditch the contact approach and just sell out for power. I don't know why our players have a 2-strike approach in positive counts.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2025 Posted May 1, 2025 Amazing. Was like 5 minutes from deciding to ditch the dome and head home. Now please win this
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2025 Posted May 1, 2025 We just tied the game....Garcia threw 9 pitches and Schneider takes him out...lol

Once/if he really gets it going he’s going to be fun to watch.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2025 Posted May 1, 2025 Rare defensive miscue from Gimenez, let’s hope it doesn’t come back to haunt him.

saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2025 Posted May 1, 2025 little reminds me of Cecil DrSunshine 1
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2025 Posted May 1, 2025 Little is nasty. The knuckle curve is unhittable. He’s his worst enemy on the mound because the stuff is excellent. Spanky99 1
HomeRunHomer Verified Member Posted May 1, 2025 Posted May 1, 2025 Little did his job now it's up to the bats to get at least 1 run and then Hoffman can close it out.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2025 Posted May 1, 2025 Crazy how the back end of the Bullpen is no longer an issue as well. A little more depth would be nice. But between Little, Garcia, and Hoffman you have a reliable trio.
BTS Community Moderator Posted May 1, 2025 Posted May 1, 2025 Who was the last Jays reliever that was this fun to watch? BJ Ryan?

Omar Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2025 Posted May 1, 2025 At least we will have our smartest baserunner on second to start the bottom of the tenth.

Going to be close to 400 saves, ERA in the mid 2s, 1300+ strikeouts despite never starting a game, and just unique dominance that people who watched him will never forget. I only thought of him recently because i discovered he is minor league manager in the Chisox system. There was a video where he told Chase Meidroth he was called up to the bigs. Seems like a great dude BTS 1
BTS Community Moderator Posted May 1, 2025 Posted May 1, 2025 So, if the season ended today Hoffman would be on multiple CY ballots.
