saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2025 Posted March 27, 2025 I'm intrigued to see how Barnes' stuff looks
KevinGregg Verified Member Posted March 27, 2025 Posted March 27, 2025 Does Dick Lovelady remind anyone else of Brian Tallet?
Steeljays Verified Member Posted March 27, 2025 Posted March 27, 2025 Only one hit. This has been the pattern the past seasons. Is Mattingly the common Denominator? Their approach is terrible.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2025 Posted March 27, 2025 Well, Bo looks good so far with the stick. 2 pretty hard hit balls to RF Spanky99 1

L54 Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2025 Posted March 27, 2025 Guys I think the fact is that they simply do not have a great lineup

Not many teams can say that. The lineup is perfectly acceptable for a competitive team Delete_My_Account_Thanks 1
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2025 Posted March 27, 2025 let it be known I said the Jays should sign O'neill as soon as the off season hit..lol

Masterbather Verified Member Posted March 27, 2025 Posted March 27, 2025 Well, it's not like we expected the bullpen to be great.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2025 Posted March 27, 2025 Wow I’m really glad I didn’t trade Cedric Mullins to Spanky !!! Spanky99 1
gruber9292 Verified Member Posted March 27, 2025 Posted March 27, 2025 What was the point in bringing Greene in at this point?

Laika Community Moderator Posted March 27, 2025 Posted March 27, 2025 Going to be a long season, boys.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2025 Posted March 27, 2025 John Patrick Schneider, you suck
gruber9292 Verified Member Posted March 27, 2025 Posted March 27, 2025 Barnes looked ok.. Schneider trying so hard to be strategic with moves he's allowed to make.

PitaBaby Verified Member Posted March 27, 2025 Posted March 27, 2025 The O's are just a much better team, we saw this coming years ago boys. Maybe the 4 people in the 500 level restaurants are enjoying the game.
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 27, 2025 Posted March 27, 2025 Jokes aside Jose Berrios is dogshit as far as "opening day starters" go Eflin was always the heavy favourite. Sigh. Why not Gausman? Kind of disrespectful to give the OD nod to the guy who is your 4th or 5th best SP. Gen.Disarray 1
glory Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2025 Posted March 27, 2025 It's one game so pointless to draw any sort of conclusion over it, but Berrios is definitely someone I'd worry about, and this is dating back to last season. Feels like he's heading towards "league average innings eater" rather than something closer to a mid rotation starter, and that's not ideal. Again just one start but people have had this concern about him for a bit.
