That’s not really fair, he’s been a very good hitter in the past. But yeah he has no business being in the cleanup spot. Fits much better as a 1-2 or 6-7 guy IMO

He has had one decent season in which his underlying numbers were substantially less than his actual numbers suggesting he was lucky.  He's had an xwoba less than .300 each of the past two seasons.  He's an 8 or 9 hitter for me.
