Crazy for a team that has prioritized defense so much at the cost of offense would allow Bo to play the most important defensive spot on the field. 

There is 0 justification of him playing SS over Gimenez this season other than just being scared of Bo's feelings.  Treat him the way you've treated Vlad all these years...

Pat Gillick and Alex A had no problem getting people in trades or free agents to sign! Both new they had to overpay but both still got the job done!!!

Get Sasaki - obviously genius.

Don't get Sasaki - not so obviously genius.  But gets us some extra IFA lottery tickets, and Straw helps the tank for the rebuild.

Genius trade that works out great either way.
