It's expensive when you have to buy a whole starting rotation because your top SP prospects are all injured or just suck

Weren't people suggesting the Jays must be doing something wrong with the development of their pitchers because so many are injured?

What are the Dodgers currently doing?

At this point the Jays are clearly doing something horribly wrong in the pitching development of minor leaguers. Everyone has been hurt or is hurt

I wonder if the Jays are behind in terms of rejuvenation regimens with pitchers coming back off of injuries? Once we get a minor league pitcher suffer any type of physical setback they seem to take an extended time to get "right" again.

As requested.

Dodgers need help.

Couple of pitchers there I wouldN’t mind.

The Dodgers need pitching....not sure they're giving much up right now when they have like 14 on the IL.

Agreed. I think they trade for Kikuchi tbh. And they do have a collection of guys close to the majors

I actually have Yesavage on my dynasty team. Didn’t think he make it to #20. Nice grab. Braden Montgomery going to Boston is no bueno though. He’s going to tear that place up.

Where is he on your FYPD board

I’d take him as third pitcher behind Burns and Smith. A lot of college bats this year, but I’d take TY over the high bats. And college pitchers obviously. I think I’d take him 12th after the first 8, then: Montgomery, Tibbs, Smith.

Woof to Jays 2nd pick. Didn’t know him before draft but not a fan of the capsule. Deck McGuire vibes

You found one

He loves to pin point when things go wrong with other top organizations like the Dodgers and Braves in order to justify his defense of Atkins and the Jays FO.

Read my post again. I was speaking to returning from injury not getting injured in the first place. Details matter.

Pretty clear what you said. Which is why I said he found one post but that didn’t register with him

No - it did. I agree that what Omar said wasn't the same as the BS that LTBF said. However, it was still criticism (or questioning) that the organization wasn't handling their pitchers correctly.

The Dodgers have had issues with both:

- pitchers getting hurt; and

- injured pitchers getting healthy and coming back to help the team (Dustin May has been hurt for seemingly 7 straight years now).

Thus - I thought what Omar was saying was relevant. And yes I acknowledge that Omar was more asking a question instead of just insisting the Jays must be f***ing everything up. I thought they would be more receipts OK? Maybe there were, but I wasn't looking for more than 2 minutes and I needed more than 1 receipt...sorry Omar.

And yes my good friend jaysblue - I do use examples to help illustrate that issues like this often are often seen across the league - including within other great organizations. I think that's a logical thing to do - you know, use examples to support my position.

It is just conjecture but...

Dodgers receive: shortstop Bo Bichette

Blue Jays receive: second baseman Gavin Lux, right-handed pitcher River Ryan, right-handed pitcher Landon Knack and third baseman Jake Gelof

Is that a good package? I'd like to get core prospect at least

Should be hard to replace Bo in off season. I remember the second Alex Gonzalez, Scutaro and Garvis types. Never costs anything and were solid.

Replace Lux with another prospect and its solid, especially given Bo's play

Yeah I would want something else other than Lux. We have plenty of 2B options as is.

Agreed. Lux is a bust. LA f***ed one of the top prospects in baseball somehow

Dalton Rushing or River Ryan plus a low minors lotto ticket like Joendry Vargas or Edouardo Quintero would be an excellent return on Bo given that he's nuked his trade value this year.

River Ryan is such an awesome name.

That's light, yuck.

Morosi was on The Fan Pregame tonight suggested a blockbuster between Dodgers/Jays. Bichetti and Bassist. Bring back top prospect and young player already in MLB. Dodgers desperate for pitching he said.

Morosi said Kikuchi and Jansen packaged to bring back more

He also said pick up Phillies third string catcher, Marchán. He decent catcher for future. Phillies all in, be looking to add. Maybe one of our bullpen arms for Marchán?
