They haven't just been beating these teams, they've been literally dominating them. They obviously aren't fully out of the woods yet but it's a damn good start.

Every team has pretty much dominated the White Sox this season or even the Tigers lol. Calm down.

I love how when the Blue Jays have a hot two or three games, guys like Max and Brownie come back on the board and go off like they do. When the Jays lose games and play awful, they disappear and you never even see them.

But yeah World Series here we come after winning 2 of 3 against the White Sox and crushing the Tigers in Game 1!

What the f*** are you talking about? I've done absolutely nothing of the sort. Show some receipts tampon

I'm fully guilty of feeling a little frisky after recent offensive performances but if you are accusing Brownie of the same you aren't paying attention. He's basically the balder male version of Wednesday Addams right now.

If the doomsday cult is allowed to act like a baseball season is only 60 games long and declare the season to be over in May then I'm sure as s*** allowed to carry on like all of the offensive issues are fixed after a handful of good games. It's only fair after all to apply the same standards to everyone on here.

Geez Louise look at Mad Max spittin fire! End of June is a good time to pick up this conversation. It’s going to be really interesting to see where we are relative to D and wildcard. D looks absolutely toast.

Yep, 60 games has always been the litmus test of where a team is at. Everyone should know this. Let's give it a couple more weeks.

Spanky, max and Term have never really spoken to what they would consider a successful season

I wonder what their response would be?

Not sure if serious??? lol

Normally a split on the road is a decent outcome. But I hope they can pull out the next 2 to give them some mojo.

Back to your regularly scheduled mid Blue Jays team.

There have been far too many games like this one so far this season. Oh well, gotta hope the lineup aside from Vlad and Bo accomplish something tomorrow.

I thought the Blue Jays haven't just been beating these teams, but dominating them and looking like a powerhouse. I guess that was short lived haha.

Hopefully they can take the next two in Detroit which would be nice.

Yeah given where this team is now in the season, a split isn't good enough. They need to come away with 3 of 4.

If they were 5 games over .500, different story. They need to climb out of this hole and they have to dominate these teams like the Tigers.

Still nothing from him. Shocking.

What receipts are you looking for? Do you want him to run calculations of your posting history after Jays losses vs wins, once it’s been clear that the Jays are s*****. So youll need establish an arbitrary line for that. Would you put that work in?

He said I jumped right back on the bandwagon after we beat the White Sox and Tigers. I'm asking for any evidence that happened.

Is that ok with you meat?

13m on Turner who projects th?e same as Horwitz vs rhp since the offseason. Probably worse now. Guy proves he's a corpse and gers moved to the 2 hole when we desperately need offence.

And I'm to believe the problem here is that we're too analytical?

We are 9 games back of the 2nd wildcard. Atkins owes his current job security to the creation of the 3rd wildcard spot and a huge payroll. Without them this thread would be titled “The Ship Has Sunk”.

You were pretty much absent before they exploded against the White Sox.

Just wanted to ask the CEO of team whiney mofos if we are allowed to start feeling better about the team lately. That makes 3 games in the last 4 where they've scored nine runs. If memory serves that's 4 of the last 9 games scoring 9 runs as well.

I’m here to ask the CEO if It’s Always Sunny in Toronto how he’s feeling about the teams performance as of late

Bit of a mixed bag. I certainly enjoyed the 9 run offensive outbursts and was just as frustrated as everyone else at the rest of the games where the team can't score more than a run or two.

Do you think those 9 run outbursts were an indication of their true talent level or do you think it was a bit of an anomaly?

When you get blanked by f***ing Kenta Maeda and Reese Olson, I think it's just over

Over before but over over now

There were enough examples of this kind of output (something like scoring 9 runs 4 times in 10 days) that it's not a total fluke. I still don't necessarily believe the nearly worst in MLB offensive output is a true indication of overall talent level, unless both of Springer and Turner are completely cooked as productive hitters. The team constantly has several hitters simultaneously in deep slumps, and on top of that a manager that refuses to make the needed changes to mitigate the issues caused by the slumping players.

I don't think both those guys can possibly be this cooked but they're at the age where anything is possible

Roster construction counting on offensive resurgence from Springer was never wise after his '23, when he actually stayed healthy.

Turner is 40 and the risk of falling off a cliff at that age is big. I'm surprised he projected 105. Are they THIS bad? Don't think so.

I think Schneider will be fired if we don't win at least 4 of next 7. It won't change anything, but Ross will offer up another sacrifice.

Turner being cooked was a very realistic outcome heading into the season, and certainly now given the way he's looked. It doesn't appear the team has any inkling to try to optimize his performance by putting him in a more strict platoon, so I don't think the DH production is going to get any better until he's traded in July for Jacob Waguespack 2.0. Springer is more of a wild card. He shouldn't be this bad, but he's also 34 with injury history in his career, and the Jays have not even tried to load manage him, so much like Turner, this is probably what we will see for the rest of the season. Maybe he gets a bit better (can't get worse) but I'm not expecting a league average bat this season either way. Hopefully there is a Haniger for Ray type of deal available in the off season where Springer can be moved.

It's definitely over, in my book. I don't see this team as currently constructed making any sort of meaningful run.
