Some action for Barger, not saying much but he looked a bit more comfortable there. Still runs pretty stiff, you can tell he’s still learning the outfield. Not much fluidity out there.

Got to love Barger but watching him move and play D takes me back to Sorrow's insider report this off season on Jays saying they love the kid but don't have a position for him.

They decided to try RF to take advantage of the hose.

Barger's inexperience has also been evident at the plate. Pitchers are flipping the gameplan against him, lots of offspeed and breaking stuff early with the fastball to blow him away later, or start with one overpowering fastball and then freeze him with the secondaries. These things will mature with experience, they know he hits the ball hard so he's being game planned to keep him off-balance.

I was more excited for Varsho, Jano and Schneider to be up in the bottom of the 2nd than I am for Springer, Vlad and Bo. The world is upside down.

I'm surprised they're putting Barger in left again

Even though it's well known he prefers right field, but in the infield, he prefers the left side of the field at third base. It can be funny that way sometimes.

I love watching Bassit pitch

Just looks miserable the whole time as he battles his pitchcom

Kitchen sink arsenal allows him to blow 90 mph past guys

I hate this team so much

84 wins, not making the playoffs

LOL. What happened to your pep talk to me mid April "Its just a clutch team that knows to win" and other Tabbyisms? I say 85 right from the start.

He's impressive in his own way

Also, I'd be pissed all the time too if I threw 6 scoreless innings while the offense does absolutely nothing

For sure. Lugo is a bit the same. Lots of slop and mix with the odd 93-95 2S

The Seth Lugo masterclass

Maybe don’t sit your best hitter against a thumber when your team can’t score

To think you need days off when you're a friggin DH blows my mind.

He doesn’t need one per se. A bunch of pencil pushers think he does
