HomeRunHomer Verified Member Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 I was worried about that ball hit towards Barger...
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 Oh crap... forgot we put Barger back in LF again. My heart stopped on that routine play there lol
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 Some action for Barger, not saying much but he looked a bit more comfortable there. Still runs pretty stiff, you can tell he’s still learning the outfield. Not much fluidity out there.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 Got to love Barger but watching him move and play D takes me back to Sorrow's insider report this off season on Jays saying they love the kid but don't have a position for him. They decided to try RF to take advantage of the hose.
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 I'm surprised they're putting Barger in left again
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 Barger's inexperience has also been evident at the plate. Pitchers are flipping the gameplan against him, lots of offspeed and breaking stuff early with the fastball to blow him away later, or start with one overpowering fastball and then freeze him with the secondaries. These things will mature with experience, they know he hits the ball hard so he's being game planned to keep him off-balance.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 I was more excited for Varsho, Jano and Schneider to be up in the bottom of the 2nd than I am for Springer, Vlad and Bo. The world is upside down.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 how the f*** is that not a swing Brutal non call
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 I'm surprised they're putting Barger in left again Even though it's well known he prefers right field, but in the infield, he prefers the left side of the field at third base. It can be funny that way sometimes.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 OMG, score some runs you *******s!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 Jesus Christ they almost turned that. FFS Vogelbach
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 I hate this team so much 84 wins, not making the playoffs
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 This team makes it hard to like them.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2024 Author Posted May 1, 2024 I love watching Bassit pitch Just looks miserable the whole time as he battles his pitchcom Kitchen sink arsenal allows him to blow 90 mph past guys
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 I hate this team so much 84 wins, not making the playoffs LOL. What happened to your pep talk to me mid April "Its just a clutch team that knows to win" and other Tabbyisms? I say 85 right from the start.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 I love watching Bassit pitch Just looks miserable the whole time as he battles his pitchcom Kitchen sink arsenal allows him to blow 90 mph past guys He's impressive in his own way Also, I'd be pissed all the time too if I threw 6 scoreless innings while the offense does absolutely nothing
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 He's impressive in his own way Also, I'd be pissed all the time too if I threw 6 scoreless innings while the offense does absolutely nothing For sure. Lugo is a bit the same. Lots of slop and mix with the odd 93-95 2S

L54 Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 The Seth Lugo masterclass Maybe don’t sit your best hitter against a thumber when your team can’t score
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 The Seth Lugo masterclass Maybe don’t sit your best hitter against a thumber when your team can’t score To think you need days off when you're a friggin DH blows my mind.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 The thunder in the Jays line up is sure some exciting baseball to watch.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 To think you need days off when you're a friggin DH blows my mind. He doesn’t need one per se. A bunch of pencil pushers think he does
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 The thunder in the Jays line up is sure some exciting baseball to watch. Just wait until the xwobaz progress to the mean
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 leadoff double for KC = game over it's actually over the Jays cannot come back from this even though it is 0-0
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 KC playing for the 1-0 win... can't blame them tbh
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 f***, now he is on third with 1 out the game is OUT OF REACH
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 Can't imagine how Bassitt feels They score on a dribbler and it feels like the game is over
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 He just stopped caring Get him out He'll roast the team in post game interviews
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2024 Posted May 1, 2024 f***, now he is on third with 1 out the game is OUT OF REACH Why are you being a loser and a hater and a Debbie Downer?
