Jays have to mandatory include Varsho in the rotation as a LH HITTER against a RHP. Arguably he is the greatest Jays left handed hitter with historically the best DWAR in baseball. Masterful performance.

It's getting to that point. It would be one thing if they needed the CF coverage, but KK is the same player almost exactly right now, and we can't keep having both in the starting lineup. Let him KK hit 9th and play gold glove D and get Schneider and Springer in almost every day on the corners.

Agreed. If he wasn't the return for Moreno, then I might expect them to act rationally with him, but chances are they'll just stick him out there and hope something clicks even when he's been like a sub 80 wRC+ player since the trade.

I’d really like to know what happened. Like did the coaches f*** with him from the get-go? Or did he struggle early in spring and started changing things then. We really just need him to be the player he was in 2022. Sellout for homers and hit .200 with elite D.
