BTS Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 114 mph and 459 feet More of that plz
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Nice to see Vlad hitting a monster HR.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Vlad against Gilbert this game: 1st inning: 95 mph lineout 4th inning: 108.5 mph lineout, 345 feet 7th inning: 114.3 mph bomb, 459 feet Gilbert has looked unhittable all game. This is why it's so frustrating that he sucks. The tools to hit are there and few have them.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 New Vladdy 210 AVG and 35 HRs 10yrs/$400m
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Wait, Edwin is on the staff? I feel like he just showed up and everyone was like hell yeah come hang out.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Wait, Edwin is on the staff? I think he’s just a part-time/guest coach
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Kirk Three identical groundouts.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Any chance Danny Jansen can just rehab in the Majors? I don't think I can watch much more of Kirk playing 95% of the time at catcher.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Author Posted April 10, 2024 Mariners bullpen used to be very good but they've been siphoning off good arms the past couple of years in trades for slap hitters Munoz is the only guy who scares me anymore but he's susceptible to blow ups
june.june Verified Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 I liked that optic having Edwin Encarnacion out there with VG. I would expect Ross to re-assign Guillermo Martinez in a different role, maybe an usher for the first time fans needing to know how to hold a bat, thatÂ’s about it.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 I think he’s just a part-time/guest coach Edwin was hired just before spring training as a coach.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Yimi Garcia is the right guy in this spot. John Schneider has been near spotless with his bullpen usage and late-game pinch hitting spots this season.
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 I wonder what the IQ was on that homer

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Our pitchers have been bullying Julio Rodriguez this series.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Slippin Jimi hitting 99 on that high strike.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Yimi is in perfect shape to handle a second inning of work for when we take the lead in the bottom of the 8th.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Author Posted April 10, 2024 Edwin hired as Vlad's personal baby sitter
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Slippin Jimi hitting 99 on that high strike. he can get it up there once in a while
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Would have considered pinch hitting Vogelbach for KK here with how bad he's looked at the plate. Tough to lose the defense but his swing have been brutal.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Gilbert does better against LHB than RHB so not sure why KK/Varsho are batting this inning.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 KK is not having a good time this year
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Yimi is in perfect shape to handle a second inning of work for when we take the lead in the bottom of the 8th. Yimi should be under a glass case that says, WARNING: USE FOR ONE INNING ONLY.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Yimi should be under a glass case that says, WARNING: USE FOR ONE INNING ONLY. I agree but with Chad Green used in back-to-back days and a depleted bullpen, Yimi for 2 innings might be our best bet.
