I would expect Ross to re-assign Guillermo Martinez in a different role, maybe an usher for the first time fans needing to know how to hold a bat, thatÂ’s about it.

Yimi Garcia is the right guy in this spot. John Schneider has been near spotless with his bullpen usage and late-game pinch hitting spots this season.

Would have considered pinch hitting Vogelbach for KK here with how bad he's looked at the plate. Tough to lose the defense but his swing have been brutal.

Gilbert does better against LHB than RHB so not sure why KK/Varsho are batting this inning.

I agree but with Chad Green used in back-to-back days and a depleted bullpen, Yimi for 2 innings might be our best bet.
