Seriously, he’s losing playing time against RHP to Kiermaier, IKF and Biggio. This org is crazy to not give DS at least a chance to prove he’s as good as the projections. Maybe he is, maybe he isn’t, but he’s one of the few guys on the roster with some impact potential. If it’s just a case of not liking his defense then that’s BS. Just stick him in LF and sub in KK late in games. Or replace KK in that scenario with IKF/Biggio if it’s 2B. Just frustrating to know he won’t be in tomorrow’s lineup (unless sanity prevails).

Agreed, but I wouldn’t single Vlad out because Bo has been atrocious defensively. He’s going to be awfully surprised at the lack of interest in him as a SS come free agency.

Babe had an .834 OPS against right handed pitching last year. Kids a stud. He might go 0 for 4 with 3 Ks some games, but he takes walks and when he makes contact he does damage. He's a doubles and home run hitter. We desperately need his power.

Yeah everyone is at least average out there defensively except for those two and they team up for misplays almost every game so far this year
