Even if guys like Springer and Kirk return to 120wRC+ type guys there is too much crap in the bottom half of the order.

 

KK and IKF are like 85wRC+ type guys

Biggio 90ish

Varsho 90-100

 

Thats 4 below average hitters and then when Kirk gets a day off you're at 5 not to mention a day off for Turner leaves Volgy hitting cleanup.

Yeah I’m not sure about bottom 10 but it has the potential to be below average. There are 4 regulars who are probably 1 WAR or sub 2 WAR players (KK, IKF, Biggio, Turner), and another who we don’t really know what his real offensive expectation is (Varsho). It’s going to put a lot of pressure on Vlad, Bichette, Springer, and Kirk/Jansen to carry the load offensively. I think this offense is probably middle of the pack realistically, but there’s definite downside.
