It appears that the forum going down is not limited to breaking Ohtani news.

 

The frequency of an error message and not being able to access the forum has gone from breaking Blue Jays news to seemingly run of the mill, and is increasing in frequency.

 

What are the actions items we as members can do to assist in a corrective action for this problem?

Get ownership from ju1ced I guess

 

And then upgrade the servers or whatever. And remove ads.

 

Not sure if he would transfer ownership/control but I don't think he makes money on the thing so maybe he would.

This has been something discussed for years but for whatever reason the person who owns the site doesn’t want to do anything about it.

 

It’s probably just better if they don’t want to give the site to someone. A group of people get together and just make a new board or a discord which would be cheaper.

 

Plenty of times I come to this site just to see the discussions and the board is down. It’s kinda sad.

I made ju1ced a 7 figure offer and he turned me down. I told him I'd quit posting here and he immediately changed his tune (apparently my posts drive over 95% of the traffic here) and he now pays me a sizable portion of the proceeds.

 

I'll reach out to him again and see if anything has changed. He doesn't let me see the financials but those monthly checks I'm getting are pretty darn fat so I know it's going to take a mammoth offer.

This is profusely false, Frenchsoup was a normal dude, man. He was in a few leagues also. Doesn't have an alt account, and just kind of went offside a bit, came back a little over zealous on his trades a few years back after he went MIA and than posting as we've seen on separate occasions, recently. He's not malicious, mental health sucks sometimes.
