Strider didn't pitch all that bad, other than giving up the HR ball. Fried was meh, and Elder really s*** the bed for them.

 

I don't get why people hate on Ranger Suarez like he's a nobody. He's not that bad of a pitcher. He's their No. 3 starter who posted a 2.4 WAR this season in 22 starts with a 8.57 K/9. He even pitched well for them in the Postseason last year. Yes the Braves bats should have done way more damage against him, especially after seeing him a second time in the series. Phillies utilized Suarez well in Game 1 and Game 4.

Nick Castellanos hit 29 HR's and had a .476 SLG this season. Wasn't a slouch with the bat like the previous year. So far 4 HR's in 6 Postseason games. Seems like he's one of their bats that is getting hot and who is having a huge impact at the right time in a short series.

 

Braves lose 3-1. I still want my ace pitching in an elimination game no matter what.
