I heard he faced Gausman in that sim game yesterday and got a hit

Man. Nimmala just worked a hitters count then yanked a dinger off a crafty veteran with MLB time (Brian Moran).

 

This after walking in his prior PA, against Jackson Stephens, decent MLB RP.

 

 

Uhhhhh we might have a real one here.

Why are most assuming Schneider is going to make the roster. He ended last year poorly and his swings this spring have not been great. These type of guys with options don’t get auto rostered. They get sent to AAA.

True, he might be on the bubble, especially with his defense being borderline. Jays might go with a better defensive option

It looked like he could have been on the bubble before the Espinal deal, but after that trade, I think it's a near certainty that he makes the team unless they have another trade/signing in the works. Schneider looks like he will play LF against LHP (at the very least) when everyone is healthy.

Ya, I think he makes it but I don't think a lot of fans will be showing up with the Davis 'stache this yr. Its only ST - lets hope he turns it up for the real deal.

My son's U8 team was at All Ontario's last year and faced a team full of kids wearing the fake stache for Schneider. It was pretty funny.

Turner at 3B tonight. Schneider in LF.

 

I wonder what would have happened if Horowitz had a good spring. Seems like they want a LHB in that last roster spot, whether it be Vogelbach or more likely Votto. If Horowitz was killing it in ST rather than putting up a .400 OPS, then he probably makes it.

The only thing I didn't like when reading those tweets is they don't seem to be lining up Kikuchi to pitch in the Yankees series, a team he owns.

Kiermaier with a no doubter for his 4th homer of the spring. Tiedemann is dealing. Espinal traded for a Vanderbilt pitcher. The vibes are great. Everyone is in the best shape of their lives. This team looks incredible. Joey Votto.

There's you're left fielder there was no need for the Varsho deal, I'm sure Schneider was doing this in the minors
