Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 Why would you want him to fail lol. Im mocking Connor
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 Just keep winning series and we'll get there.... ....oh, and thank you Oakland outfielders.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 Biggio’s homer was on 98 up in the zone too. Love to see that
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 If you would have told me in Spring that Kikuchi was going to be 7-2 with an era under 4 at the end of June. I would have assumed the Jays were 20+ games over .500 and in First Place in the division. Instead were 7 games over .500 and in 4th place.

Yeah and the other big question mark entering the year was Berrios who has really turned it around too.

This is just one more example of us good Albertan boys getting treated like second class citizens. It seems that everything that ills this province is Trudeau's fault so to hell with that guy eh?

And if you added Berrios having a 3.60 ERA to that you'd guess we are in first place by a significant margin.

There are a lot of really good developments on this team that are largely overshadowed by the disappointments. Like Bo improving by leaps and bounds defensively while continuing to be an offensive force, Brandon Belt has been a stout offensive addition to the lineup, Kiermaier has bounced back completely defensively after hip surgery and been a solid contributor from the bottom of the order etc.

Vlad and Manoah have been collectively replacement level for 3 months, so that almost negates the positives for Kooch and Berrios. Not to mention Kirk is a singles hitter now (on top of being the slowest man on earth). Last season the ancillary pieces disappointed while the stars played like stars. It has been somewhat the opposite now aside from Bo and Gausman, as guys like KK, Berrios, Kikuchi, Merrifield, etc, have picked up some of the slack for Vlad, Manoah, Kirk, Springer (who has picked it up lately), Varsho, etc.

Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
