I despise the Yankees more than any sports team, but sure. I wish I was though because they consistently win.

 

Sorry, but the way this season is playing out is basically a bad comedy. Highest payroll they’ve ever had and they’re barely competing for a wild card spot. Gurriel, Moreno, Frasso all looking better than White & Varsho. Vlady has 0 home runs at home and it’s middle of June. Offense is 4th in OBP, but they can’t score. It’s either laugh or cry.

 

Sure thing. You joined this forum in June and you have never had a positive thing to say about the Jays. Yankees are one game in front of the Jays and havent won a thing in nine years. So much better.

Just a reflection of my higher expectations for Vladdy than anything.

I expected Manoah to be 3.5 to 4 ERA type of guy, I never expected the complete collapse of his confidence. Especially since the reason he was able to overreach last year was because of his confidence.

 

While I'm disappointed in Vlad, I'm kind of used to him disappointing relative to his talents. I expected to be disappointed in Vlad more than Alek.

Maybe they should option Vlad G and give Horowitz a look. A trip to the minors or a trade to another team would be good too. Vlad G to Houston for multiple pitching prospects would work. Their 1st baseman is even more dreadful.

But I also dont bash this team, which seems to be the new pleasure for all the new posters, like you. All have joined recently and are probably all the same person. All I know is I read this game thread for enjoyment and this is not enjoyable. and if I was really lashing out as you profess, I would tell you what I really think of people that have nothing better to do than constantly bitch and moan.

Yeah that’s the jist of it. We come here to discuss the team. The highs, the lows, the faults, the accomplishments.

 

But there’s a collection of posters here that do nothing but bitch and moan and constantly bash the team.
