gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2023 Posted April 9, 2023 I guess Schneider isn't a big platoon guy. Luplow needs to be in AAA getting his reps in. He's not ready, neither is Belt.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2023 Author Posted April 9, 2023 I guess Schneider isn't a big platoon guy. I think it’s more so that Kiermaier and Varsho are hot right now and wants to keep great D in CF and LF today. Plus he is platooning Espinal even though he’s been awful with the stick to start out.

Omar Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2023 Posted April 9, 2023 ugh....man alive, how many of those have we had this short season?
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2023 Posted April 9, 2023 I'd really like to know what the f*** Varsho was doing. That's the second time this year. f*** this..

THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2023 Posted April 9, 2023 Why the f*** is Walker letting Kikuchi throw that awful Cutter. It's never been a good pitch and always gets hammered

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2023 Posted April 9, 2023 Why the f*** is Walker letting Kikuchi throw that awful Cutter. It's never been a good pitch and always gets hammered The homerun was on a changeup. Kikuchi has not thrown a cutter all year.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2023 Posted April 9, 2023 The homerun was on a changeup. Kikuchi has not thrown a cutter all year. Isn't the cutter the same speed, the action looked the same as well?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2023 Posted April 9, 2023 Isn't the cutter the same speed, the action looked the same as well? You could see the pitch had a bit of tail to it. It was just an awfully located changeup. Kikuchi has fully moved away from his cutter.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2023 Posted April 9, 2023 ITT: people who have never seen a player lose a ball in the sun before. He didn't play that well. You got to use your glove to shield the sun also if it's that bad. That's the second time already this year and shouldn't be expected from a player known for his elite outfield defence.
Pinkfloid Verified Member Posted April 9, 2023 Posted April 9, 2023 At least it's early. Lots of time for redemption.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2023 Posted April 9, 2023 Detmers attacking this lineup like he knows once he gets past the top 4 he just can attack and coast through 5-9.
