And also some weird about Mel Gibson related post, that's definitely on the questionable end of things.

 

I gotta say looking through it, whatever you think about any of the individual topics, taken as a whole this man is like a grade A moron. Anyone like him who genuinely really believes like Kari Lake was robbed of an elections is a remarkably stupid person.

Hence my post.... The OP had started giving his own political takes and then follow up posts with just political takes and NOT just reporting "some BS thread on Reddit..

 

I'm not arguing that anyone reported anything via the report feature. I also know you guys have a tough job. I am also not even bummed by the big ban day... Just calling out one Mod and his decision to allow the kindeling again that led to the the giant forest fire previously.

You should take a few moments to back and look at your recent posts. One of the biggest things I've taken issue with your recent posts is how you are constantly goading other posters about how they were wrong about some of their posted opinions. I've seen plenty of posts calling out those who thought the Rangers would come crashing down to earth, how the Orioles weren't to be taken seriously yet as a real threat etc. If you really take issue with other posters trying to show up the rest of the board then you look like a giant hypocrite if you are doing exactly the same type of thing that you claim to take issue with.

 

Yeah because the posters saying that about the Rangers and Orioles are huge Jays homers. It's ironic how if the Jays were playing as well as the Orioles and Rangers, those same posters would be on cloud nine thinking it was legit, yet when the Orioles or Rangers are playing well, nah they're awful and they suck. Almost every forum on the internet has rules against complaining too critically/often about moderation. At the end of the day, you're either satisfied with the way a community is moderated, or you're not. And if you're not, you're free to leave. Most readers don't want to read repeated/unproductive complaints about the moderation from a small handful of people.

 

This forum is extremely lax as far as moderation goes.

Well for starters you are constantly calling Brownie and myself homers. I love how you frame a simple internet debate as "attacking" other posters if we disagree with someone else's opinion. It sounds like if a poster thinks this is a solid team that has underperformed yet don't see the need for drastic moves this means you should be constantly chided about being a homer. You can go ahead and point out where I refuse to debate or discuss criticism of the front office where it's warranted. If I don't agree with some of the criticism and *gasp* formulate a different opinion than what has been presented in front of me why should that lead to a constant series of attacks from the likes of you? Like it or not there are going to be different opinions on this message board, and most of us here are very knowledgeable and don't just spout nonsense without applying some kind of logic behind it.

 

This may come as a surprise to you but we are free to have our own opinions and to share them without the likes of you chiding us for not blindly following along with the overwhelming negativity that permeates this place when the team is struggling. If Vlad continues to accumulate negative fWAR the next few weeks, as he has done the last 6 or 7 weeks, Hinske will take the lead over Vlad in fWAR as they reach apr. the same number of games played.

 

There is also a rumor that our former 5th rate right fielder, who couldn't play defense and had maybe a 40 hit tool (but some power) has more fWAR than Vlad. This one is true. And Vlad will probably not catch him when they reach the same number of games.

 

There is also a rumor that another 5th rate right fielder/center fielder, from 20 years ago, Jose Cruz (also a jr), who got released on behalf of being not worth it has more fWAR than Vlad in about the same number of games. True. That is true.
