It would be a great move to get Plesac. I don't think he could find a better chance for meaningful innings.

Plesac will definitely be getting claimed and traded for.

 

I think he's on a $3million contract. We'd effectively pick up about $2m for the remainder of the season. May be worth it.

And yes.. I may have a vested interest, but as an example of baseball being strange, Michael Kopech had been one of the wildest SP in baseball, but somehow in his last 4 starts, he’s at 36k/3bb

What are the chances that Luis Arrez challenges .400 this year?

 

If he's still hitting .390ish after July, I think the conversation definitely starts to have some legs.

So if he only hits 9HR that's no good? I'll take 400BA at the top of the lineup any day.
